of each track for a conference. The virtual component of our conferences will again stream live online, with on-
demand access via Mediasite available to all onsite and virtual attendees post-conference. Special attention will be
paid to integrate the face-to-face events with the virtual events in a way that makes the virtual attendees true
participants of the conferences. For 2012, a virtual attendee option of over 60 sessions will be offered as a registration
choice for the Orlando Conference. All Coast-to-Coast and Gold sponsor vendor showcase sessions presented at the
conference will be guaranteed a live webcast slot and will be recorded for on-demand viewing. Availability of other
webcast session slots for Silver, Bronze, and Associate sponsors plus exhibitors will be determined after August 10.

Exhibit Hours
Exhibit floor plan, set-up, exhibit hours, and dismantle times are subject to change. Please check with the Director,
Conference Services and on the exhibitor/sponsor page of the website for an updated schedule prior to the
conference. Exhibits must remain intact until the end of the exhibit session. Under no circumstances will the
Conference Management permit the removal, during the Exposition, of any portion of an exhibit without written
permission. All exhibit material must be removed from the building by the end of the designated exhibitor dismantle

o Single booth in exhibit hall at each of Sloan-C’s remaining 2012 conferences, with all regular
exhibitor benefits included. Premium booth location with priority selection for booth location; done
in order of date Coast-to-Coast contracts are received. Customized premium Coast-to-Coast
contracts, including Platinum Plus and Diamond levels, negotiated with additional benefits at a

Additional Information Guidelines for Submitting a Presentation Companies and vendors provide value to Sloan-C Conferences through program presentations, exhibits and sponsorships. Vendors may submit presentations through the regular Call for Presentations or directly to the Director, Conference Services for a vendor showcase. Vendor Showcase presentations:
o Are established each day for sponsors/exhibitors to make presentations on their products and services.
o May include submissions that are moved from academic tracks in the Call for Presentations to the
Vendor Showcase schedule at the recommendation of the Program chair.
o May be submitted directly to Christine Hinkley at [email protected] as part of the
sponsorship/exhibit process. Showcase proposals will be reviewed by the Director, Conference Services
and the conference program chair for approval of content.
o Coast-to-Coast and Gold sponsors are guaranteed a Vendor Showcase presentation slot, if desired.
Remaining slots are assigned to sponsors by level, and then to exhibitors in order of exhibit contracts
received as space is available.
o These sessions are distinctly marked as Vendor Showcase presentations in conference materials
including the program book, website and room signage. This includes language that these presentations
should be expected to include some sales promotional language in them.

Cancellation/Refunds Policy
Requests for exhibit space refunds must be made in writing to The Sloan Consortium no less than 45 days before the conference start date, in which case a refund will be issued minus a 25% administrative fee. No refunds will be honored after the cancellation date per conference. Coast-to-Coast sponsorship contracts are non-refundable. If you do not attend the program and do not submit a written refund request, The Sloan Consortium will retain all fees. The Sloan Consortium is not responsible for any change/cancellation charges assessed by airlines, travel agents, hotels or other similar vendors.

Under no circumstances will the Conference Management permit the removal, during the Exposition, of any portion of an exhibit without written permission.
