All communication from the Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) is addressed to you, the student. Most communication is sent to your Emmanuel e-mail address or through MySaints, the College’s internal online communication system.

It is your responsibility to complete the financial aid process and ensure that your balance is paid in full. If your parents are assisting you with the financial aid or billing process, please share with them the information you receive from the OSFS.

Room and Board Most students are placed in a double or a triple room. The cost for a double is $12,990 and the cost of a triple is $10,490, both of which include the cost of a meal plan. Health Insurance

TheCommonwealthofMassachusettsrequiresallstudentsenrolledatleastthree-quarterstimetobeenrolledinahealthinsuranceplan.Toensurethatyouaremeetingthisrequirement,youareautomaticallyenrolledintheCollege’shealthplanandarechargedtheannualhealthinsurancepremiumof$1,637.

Waiving the College’s Health Insurance StudentswhohavetheirownhealthinsurancecoverageandwouldliketowaiveenrollmentintheCollege’splanmustcompletetheonlinehealthinsurancewaiveratwww.universityhealthplans.combyAugust8,2012.

StudentswhodonotcompletethewaiverformbyAugust8,2012willautomaticallybechargedthepremium,eveniftheyhaveothercoverage.

Enrolling in the College’s Health InsuranceStudentswhodonothavecoveragearerequiredtoenrollintheCollege’s healthinsuranceplanbycompletingtheonlineenrollmentformat www.universityhealthplans.combyAugust8,2012.

Allstudentsareeligibletoapplyforon-campusjobs,regardlessofwhetheryouareawardedFederalWork-Study.However,theCollegehasanumberofpartnershipswithoff-campusorganizationsthatprovideemploymentopportunitiestostudents;theseopportunitiesarelimitedtostudentswhoareawardedFederalWork-Study.

Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal from a CourseCourseschedulechangesmustbemadeduringthesemester’sadd/dropperiodtoreceivearefund.Aftertheadd/dropperiod,youareliableforthecostofcoursesfromwhichyouwithdraw.

Beforefinancialaidisdisbursed,yourenrollmentandhousingstatusareconfirmedaftereachsemester’sadd/dropperiod.Youraidmaybeadjustedifyourenrollmentand/oryourhousingstatuschangedfromwhatwasoriginallyreported.

Withdrawal from the CollegeAfterthestartofclasses,feesarenotrefundable,andtuition,room andboardarerefundedbasedonthepolicybelow.ToofficiallywithdrawfromtheCollege,youmustcontactyourAcademicAdvisorortheRegistrar’sOffice.Non-attendance does not constitute an official withdrawal.

TuitioninsuranceisavailablethroughSallieMaeInsuranceServicestohelpprotectyourinvestmentifthestudentisunabletocompleteclassesfortheacademictermduetophysicalormentalillness,injuryordeath.Studentshavetheoptionofpurchasingvaryingamountsoftuitioninsurancebasedontheneedsofthestudentandfamily. ParticipationinthetuitioninsuranceisoptionalandisnotadministeredbyEmmanuelCollege.TheCollege’swithdrawalpolicy(pleaseseepage18formoreinformation)isapplicablewhetherornotyouenrollinthetuitioninsuranceplan. Refund Process

Emmanuel College, founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in 1919, is a coed, residential, Catholic liberal arts and sciences college located in the city of Boston.
