with very positive traits in both fat and protein. Climax breeds all-round dairy cows who can handle their production

very well. His conformation level stays steady, in which he adds another point to his udder score. The udder picture

what Climax gives can be described best as perfect udders for automatic milking systems. His secondary traits are

also of a very high level. Furthermore Climax is THE calving ease sire par excellence!

Sunny Boy in his pedigree one has to say that this is an impressive sire line-up. Maik’s dam and granddam are still

present at the farm and both are in good health. Maik is the highest newcomer this indexrun, he breeds positive

productions with neutral components. His secondary traits are of top levels and with a total conformation score of

108 we can talk about a new top bull for K.I. SAMEN. Maik is also a calving ease bull. From Maik there are a limited

number of straws in stock, because, unfortunately, Maik perished during his waiting period.

Ramses is a so called compensation bull for cows who cannot handle their production. He inherits slightly negative

for kgs of milk with very positive figures for % fat and % protein. What also strikes positively in his figures is his SCS

score (very healthy udders) and a top number of 511!! longevity days. His daughters are averaged sized with good

udders and feet & legs.

Radon is the feet & legs sire of the moment with a solid udder inheritance AND a very high ‘farmers satisfaction

a massive increase from the first to the third lactation; in short all features are present to breed cows that last and

will grow old.

The compensation bull (for crossbreeding) at the moment! Dam of this Titanic son is the well known Dutch cow

Geertje 289. This 17 year old cow was just recently put to sleep at the farm of the Van Dijk family. Geertje 289

produced 184,000 kgs of milk in her life, an absolute production record! On top of that she was scored EX 94. Only a

few cows in the Netherlands have gathered this score; Geertje 289 is one of them! In short: Geertje 289 was one of

the best, nicest and highest production cow in the Netherlands ever! As a heifer she started steady en added each

year more and more to her production.

This is exactly what the TEUS daughters show as well. As heifer they start steady and have the capacity to grow into

massive and impressive older dairy cows with the will to earn money for the farmer. With each indexrun the

breeding values from TEUS increase, where especially his conformation figures are growing to the top segment.

The highest newcomer from the December 2010 indexrun is standing firmly at the top! This production star breeds

more than 700 kgs of milk with high components. This means that Malando passed the magical boundary of 100 kgs

fat and protein. A successful introduction at the Gorinchem show with 3 Malando daughters, before his first official

figures were published says enough. They all showed the same uniform image: strongly build heifers with wide, tall

and sloping rumps, good shaped udders and powerful use of their feet & legs. Exactly what the farmers tell us.

that ELMAR is a welcome addition to our bull package!

This Talent son from the Huybens Pietje family scores good production figures with more than 900 kgs of milk and

equally remaining protein levels. The Pietje family is well known by breeding several proven sires (e.g Deejay and

Tequila). TUMULT’s conformation figures are exceptional high; with a Total Score of 113 and 112 for Udder TUMULT

is one the best of his breed.

The Stadel son CEDRIC realizes good production figures with +0.04 protein. He combines this with a high longevity

and very good SCS and fertility. What also strikes is that his daughters score 102 for SCS in their first lactation and

improve to 106 SCS in their third lactation. His calving ease status combined with his attractive price makes of

CEDRIC an interesting bull to use.

LOUSTAR is THE alternative bull to use within the red & white population (which needs a little refreshment). Besides

start to produce now. The first signals we receive out of the field are more than positive! For us this is an important

item, this means that the dairy farmers are satisfied with their Thunder W daughters. At the last All Holland Dairy

show in 2010 we have displayed an attractive reflection what THUNDER W can do from heifer to older cow. The

older the cow the better she gets: heavy and stylishly build in the good sense of these words. Production combined

with strength, good udders which are well attached and good feet & legs. On top of this all THUNDER W has good

Diman is the number 2 of the ranking list. Diman (Manuel 142 x Ajax 94) is a bull with very good component figures
