2011 ZODIAC MK3GR INFLATABLE BOAT AND 16’ SEA LION TRAILER The 2011 Zodiak MK3GR inflatable boat was purchased from Annapolis Inflatables of Annapolis MD on December 30, 2011 and placed in service in May 2012. It is powered by an Evinrude Etec Rescue Pro 40HP outboard motor. Total cost of the boat, motor and accessories was $18,664.33. The boat is capable of carrying up to 9 persons and has a total capacity of 2960lbs. The hull identification number of the Zodiak is XDCC153FB212 and it is 15’-5” in length and weighs 243lbs. The Zodiak has a v- bottom design and a rigid floor. The Sea Lion model VL80-2450 galvanized trailer was donated by Keller Marine Services of Port Trevorton, PA. The estimated value of the trailer at the time of donation was $2500.00. The 2011 Zodiak and Sea Lion trailer were purchased in an effort to improve the departments water rescue capability due to the sometimes severe conditions presented by the Susquehanna River, Penns Creek and other local waterways. These units will replace the 1987 model 16PROJON, 16’ x 6’ Flat Bottom Blue Fin watercraft and 25HP Mercury outboard motor.
