About the Judges

Kris HansonKris Hanson has led Ogilvy’s West Coast Creative for

the past eleven years. Her team has successfullyimplemented dozens of fully integrated, statewide,multilingual social marketing and public educationcampaigns. Kris has developed campaigns focusing on amultitude of issues facing Californians including TeacherRecruitment, Litter Prevention, Teen PregnancyPrevention, Traffic Safety, Elder Abuse Prevention, TeenAlcohol and Drug Prevention, Protecting Women’s Rightto Choice and Marriage Equality.

Kris and her team are adept at “trans-creation” -developing multilingual creative concepts that areculturally relevant and audience specific. Kris’ team hasgarnered more than 180 local, regional and nationalawards for achieving creative excellence.

Current clients include the Planned ParenthoodAffiliates of California, Office of the State Treasurer,California Earthquake Authority, Virgin America,California Office of Traffic Safety, American ChemistryCouncil and Intel.

Andy TyerAndy Tyer is a creative director at Saatchi and Saatchi

X, the shopper marketing arm of Saatchi & Saatchi. Heleads the most awesome creative team in the history ofadvertising and works on such brands as Tampax, Nyquil,Pringles, and Old Spice.

Prior to joining Saatchi, Andy worked as a creativedirector and copywriter for a number of agencies inHawaii, Montana and North Carolina. His TVcommercials have won National ADDYs, as have his printand collateral work, the most recent being a NationalSilver ADDY win in 2009 for Vick’s.

In his spare time, he loves raising his three daughters,entering and winning online video contests (he won abrand new Dodge Grand Caravan), and playing X-Box360 when everyone else in the house has gone to sleep.

Matthew StewartBefore joining Disney’s Yellow Shoes Creative Group,

Matt had real jobs with the absence of pixie dust and fairygodmothers. He somehow still managed to find success inthe industry we call advertising.

Over the last decade he has had the privilege ofworking on campaigns for Nestle brands like Coffee-mateand Hot Pockets, as well as Old Spice, PUR, Disney CruiseLine, and Disney Parks and Resorts.

You can even find some of this work in places like theNational Addys, HOW Design Annuals, CreativityAnnuals and CA among others, but most importantly inthe hearts of the loyal brand consumers.

After a fantastic public education Matt achieved aB.F.A. from the prestigious Arkansas State University. Hecurrently resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife Sheaand his daughter Kendal. Ah, Florida - where he can finallyleave the top off his Jeep for extended periods of time.
