These excel- lent role-models provide leadership and instruction throughout the day’s activi- ties. Head Coach Tyler Slipp plans and implements the curriculum with help from his assistant coaches and student ath- letes. All camps are open to Girls Aged 10 – 17 (Campers will be grouped by age and skill level) SHOOTING AND OFFENSIVE FUNDAMENTALS CAMP: AUGUST 15TH – 19TH Learn and compete with the offensive skills needed to make an impact at the next level! With the move to FIBA rules, Basketball in Canada has become a play- ers game. This camp will train your ability to make decisions and execute funda- mental skills at the pace required to suc- ceed. There will be an emphasis on ball handling skills, creative passing, shooting mechanics and decision making. BACK TO SCHOOL CAMP: AUGUST 29TH – SEPT 2ND This camp is designed to get participants a competitive edge for their school team tryouts that come a few weeks later. Campers will get fundamental skill work combined with enough scrimmage and games-approach drills to get a major head-start on the school season. Whether you are looking to play at the next level or make an impact on your team, this camp will get you ready! ALL CAMPERS WILL RECEIVE • 6 hours of basketball instruction each day • Waterloo Warriors Women’s Basketball T-Shirt or reversible jersey • 1 hour of swimming daily CAMPERS NEED TO BRING • Basketball shoes with two pairs of socks • T-Shirt and shorts • Water bottle • Lunch and snacks • Bathing suit DIRECTIONS (FROM HWY 401) • From east or west, follow highway 401 to exit 278, highway 8 West. • Follow 8 West to 7 East (an expressway called the Conestoga Parkway). Be sure to take the exit for 7 East, not 7 West. • Keep left; do not exit on 7 East (Victoria Street and Guelph). Expressway be- comes 85 North (formerly 86). • Exit at University Avenue West and drive about 2 miles (3 km). APPLICATION POLICY • Complete the registration form and re- turn it to the University of Waterloo as indicated below. • Registration closes one week before scheduled start date for each camp • Applications are processed on a first come first serve basis. CANCELLATION POLICY All cancellation requests must be re- ceived in writing prior to the start of camp and are subject to the following conditions: • 25% Cancellation Fee on cancellation received more than 10 working days prior to the start of camp. • 50% Cancellation Fee on cancellations received on or less than 10 working days prior to the start of the camp. • No Shows - No refund.
