HELLO SUMMER!!! Blast to thepast with this fun filled week ofDigging for Dino’s. Let’s travel toJurassic Forest and explorealongside the dinosaurs thatroam the land. Build your owndinosaur egg and decorate itwith a variety of colours anddesigns. Enjoy our scavengerhunt as we search for lost bonesand artifacts from millions ofyears ago!

Dodge,Dip,Dive,Duck&DodgeJuly 11-15th

Get ready for a week full ofdiversity and excitement! Let’ssee your athletic talents as weplay soccer, capture the flag andtag. Come biking with us as wetravel around Stony Plainlooking at all the sites andmurals. Create your own FuzzBud and bake a deliciousPopcorn Ball! Finally, after aweek of fun activities we will cooloff at the Stony Plain Pool.

This week we celebrate theworld! Looking at differentnations from around the world,we will be experiencingfestivities and traditions frommany countries. We’ll create anAfrican Mask and bake RussianApple Cakes. We will be touringthe Ukrainian Heritage Villageand having a dance party withmusic from around the world.

Where theWildThingsAreAugust 15-19th

This week is all about natureand the environment. Come andexplore the Devonian BotanicGardens as we look at a varietyof plants, bugs, animals and somuch more. Create your ownGrasshead and watch its hairgrow for the rest of the summer.Build a rain stick and compareits sounds to that of the Amazonrainforest. Enjoy PlayingPredator and Prey and manyother outdoor activities!

There’s a commotion in theocean! Splish and splash with usas we travel to the St. AlbertSpray Park and have a massivewater fight! Using the colorsfrom the Great Barrier Reef,create a Water Bottle Fish thatblends into its habitat. Build yourbest sandcastle and comedressed as a pirate as we finishoff at the Stony Plain Pool with abeach PARTY!

Out&AboutDAYTRIPSONLYAugust 2-5th

It’s that time of year again! Thisweek we are out and aboutexperiencing the many differentactivities the area has to offer.On Tuesday we will be travelingto the World Wide Water Park atWest Edmonton Mall. OnWednesday we will be returningback to West Edmonton Mall aswe jump on all the rides atGalaxyland. Finally on Thursdaylet’s travel back in time to thedays of the pioneers as weexplore and learn aboutFort Edmonton Park.

SUMMER PROGRAMMING is designed just for kids. Childrenhave the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities, crafts and fieldtrips. No two weeks will ever be the same with the abundance ofthemes, such as Goin’ Green and Total Drama. Play Daze beginsweekdays at 9 am and wraps up at 3 pm. Before-Care and After-Care is available. Registration is on a weekly basis and everyone iswelcome to attend all summer long!

What’s Adventureland?? This week is all about mythical creatures,fairytales and legions from the past. Get ready to build your own fairytaleplay and create your own costumes and set. Get ready to play “ShavingCream Kings and Queens” as well as travel to Laser Quest for anawesome time. Following Laser Quest we will have a picnic and gamesat the Kinsmen Park. On Friday we will be performing our plays forparents and guests as well as cooling off at the Stony Plain pool.
