These quilts, along with many others, will be taken to "Wounded Warriors" at the Warrior Family Support Center, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, in San Anto- nio, to support the recovery of the soldiers. Since they embarked on this project in 2004, as of December 2009, the Austin Area Quilt Guild has delivered a total of 448 quilts and 76 afghans to wounded soldiers, veterans and active duty sol- diers in Iraq. RWB has also donated 40 quilts to Operation Homefront, which is an organization that distributes quilts to the fami- lies of fallen soldiers. The next SHPC Inquirers' Classes will be held at church on July 17 th & 24 th , beginning at 5:30 p.m. Visitors wishing to join the congre- gation or considering membership should sign up now. The Session will receive class participants wishing to join into church membership later in the year. Childcare is avail- able, but reservations must be made in advance. Well, we ladies have learned all we canabout the Lost Women of the Bible andWAY more than we needed to knowabout Ruth.

We will be taking a break for the sum-mer. Some will be traveling far, somewill be hugging on grand-children andtwo of us will be getting new knees.We'll still be getting together at Pane-ra's every Tuesday at 10 a.m. - thosewho are in town - having coffee andsomething we'll regret later. We'll alsobe talking about a study for the fall.
