    The 2011 Global Open Water Swimming Conference will be held in New York Citybetween June 17th and 19th, 2011.

    A global gathering of open water swimming athletes, including world champions, celebratedsoloists, world-record holders and Olympians, coaches, administrators, officials, physicians,

    researchers, scientists, documentary directors, writers and enthusiasts will occur during athree-day celebration of open water swimming in New York City.

    The Conference is part of the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim weekend that includes theworld-renowned 28.5-mile race, attend the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fameinduction ceremonies and attend the World Open Water Swimming Performance of the Year,World Open Water Swimming Man of the Year and World Open Water Swimming Women ofthe Year award ceremonies.
