2011 Relay For Life of Brookville
Event Schedule August 6th & 7th
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life begins with a celebration featuring speakers, and entertainment.
All Day Events: Team Fundraising, Relay Store, Luminaria Sales, Silent Auction, Music, Food and Entertainment. Fun For All Ages. Public InvitedSaturday (Aug 6th )9:00 a.m Teams Set up
10:00 DJ’s – Karen Uplinger 10-3– Jamie Marsden 3-6 Shawn Lindemuth 8- 6 Team Registration- team cpt to come to Registration area and pick up suppliesTeam Walking until 2:00 for opening ceremonySurvivor Registration continues all dayRelay Store Opens(Hosted by: Matson lumber Companies Team)Chinese Auction Opens(Hosted by: Life’s Blessings Team)Luminaria Sales Opens(Hosted by Family Ties Team)Advocacy/Missions OpensDon’t forget to decorate your tent area for a judging later in the event.Teams will be given materials and supplies to create and decorate a “sports themed” hat – helmet. You have from 10 to 4 to get these made.

(Anyone that gets pledges of $50.00 or more wins a prize. Pick up a pledge form at DJ area)
Teams may continue to walk and enjoy the music

Luminaria/Raffles/Chinese Auction Tickets
The Luminaria ceremony scheduled at 9:00 pm is an opportunity to recognize loved ones who are fighting the battle against cancer and honor those we have lost to the disease. Lit Luminarias are displayed to light the way for Relay For Life throughout the night. If you would like to purchase luminaria’s for this ceremony please stop by the Luminaria tent. The cost is donation only per luminaria.
