FIAP Hatching troughs and boxes We deliver the FIAP hatching troughs in two sizes; suitable for 4 or 7 hatching boxes. The troughs have identical dimensions as the

old Sterner trough types 2001 and 2002. The hatching boxes are standard with 1.5mm

holes. Other sizes on request. FIAP hatching box is identical to the old Sterner

hatching box type 2003, but with improved quality.

The hatching troughs are manufactured in glass fibre and the hatching boxes are manufactured in PVC and stainless steel.

We recommend 1.5-2.0 litres of eggs to be held in each hatching box.

A special designed screen can be installed in the hatching trough for start feeding. Price on request

Hatching Equipment

Handles 360 000 roe and fry The CompHatch hatchery system combines an efficient design with complete control of the hatching process. Using an eight-floor cabinet with two sections on each floor, the system handles 360,000 roe grains and fry of Atlantic Salmon.

Produce over 1 mill. fry on 4m2 Traditional hatchery systems need lots of space and lots of hard work to function. To produce 1 million fry, a traditional system needs an area of up to 120 m2. When using CompHatch systems, you will produce more than 1 million fry on just 4 m2.

Optimum water quality for roe grains and fry The CompHatch system optimizes the water quality by continuously controlling the water flow rate. In order to make fry lie stable and avoid skin damage the hatchery sections are positioned upstream. CompHatch is delivered complete with EasyHatch hatching substrates. Astro-Turf

A perforated plastic sheet is put upon the hatching substrate, and eggs are dispersed all over the plastic sheet. During hatching the yolk sack fry will swim through the perforations in the plastic sheet and they get protection in the hatching substrate. This gives better utilisation of the yolk sack which subsequently will lead to higher starting weight.

Brown type of Astro-Turf is now standard: The new type is more rigid and it has larger holes for flow through of water compared to the traditional green type (no longer available).

Bio-Bunn

The Bio-Bunn hatching substrate is delivered

in sets of two mats, pre-cut to fit into our hatching boxes (40x40cm).

The eggs are dispersed evenly upon the upper plastic sheet. At hatching the yolk sack fry will swim through the perforations in the plastic sheet and look for protection in the hatching substrate underneath. The substrate gives the fry the necessary support to prevent yolk sack deformation. Better utilisation of the yolk gives better starting weight.

The substrate is also suitable as fry shelter in start feeding tanks. It is a well known problem when you transport fry from the hatching box to the start feeding tank that the fry shows a tendency to tighten the outlet bottom sieve. By placing one of the Bio-Bunns with the spikes towards the bottom of the thank, all the fry will take shelter underneath and the problem is solved.

The use of a hatching substrate has been proven to give the following advantages: Less stress and increased growth Prevents yolk sack deformation Higher starting weight (20-30 %) gives easier

start feeding, better survival and more vigorous smolt.

The new type of Astro-Turf is more rigid and has larger holes for

Winsorter egg sorter A Winsorter is a high quality sorting machine for gentle sorting of fish eggs. The Winsorter was invented 25 years ago. It has subsequently been developed and improved in close relationship with the fish farmers, and the outcome is an extremely reliable machine which fully meets the strict demands that you may set up for your equipment as a fish farmer. The machine can be delivered with sorting capacities of 100,000 or 200,000 eggs per hour and with or without an electronic counter.

We deliver FIAP landing nets (frame in aluminium) in four sizes with the following standard mesh sizes:

30x30 cm, 5 or 10 mm mesh size. 40x40 cm, 5 or 10 mm mesh size. 50x50 cm, 5, 10 or 15 mm mesh size. 60x60 cm, 10, 15 or 20 mm mesh size. The landing nets are priced without handles. Aluminium handles are available in lengths up to 6 m.

An adapter is necessary to fit the handle into the landing net.

Grading Equipment

The Apollo fish grader is delivered in four (4,5,7 or 10 tracks) sizes with three or four outlets. The grading is executed very gently over revolving sprinkled rollers. At the same time as the fish are sprinkled with water they slide down through the tilted rollers. The machine is very robust and produced in

stainless steel 316. Apollo has since 1981 delivered about 400 machines and the first delivered are still operating. The rollers can easily be adjusted from 0-35 mm openings between the rollers. The machine needs supply of water and 220/380V 1-phase or 3-phase.

Milanese Alpha is a grad-ing machine especially suitable for fries from

0-50 g. The machines are deliv-

ered with revolving rollers and the fish are sprinkled with water during the sort-ing.

The fish are sorted in three different sizes.

AquaScan Counters Accurate Counting

AquaScan is based on a patented counting principle which gives both high capacity and accuracy. The fish flow freely through a pipe and pass an advanced cam-era/measuring system which will register the size and speed of the passing fish. The resulting data is then transmitted to a control unit which may handle as many as 4 channels (e.g. during grading) simultaneously. AquaScan KD control unit The AquaScan Control Unit will always show the total number of fish passing through the registration unit(s). The powderpainted aluminium case is sturdy, splash proof and user friendly. It has 100-240 VAC input power, fluorescent buttons and backlit display. The input channels can power and control up to 4 CSE/CSW or 2 CSF registration units at the same time. It also has connectors for auxillary equipment like PC, external siren and PLC/pump control. The adjustable carrying handle can also lift the front of the Control Unit (to approx. 10º, 30º and 45º) for easy operation and a better view.

AquaScan CSE The CSE-units are used for ―dry ―- counting (pipe 0-1/5 full of water through the unit). Available in four models, the two smallest models are introduced here. The CSF-counters are made for systems where the pipe is completely full of water.

Available in four models, the two smallest models are introduced here.

AquaScan CSW

Fish counter suitable for fish down to 0.2g. Compared to the traditional CSE counters,

the CSW counter has higher resolution and therefore it will ―see‖ more. In addition, the CSW counter has a flat and wide counting channel (28 cm) so that fish are spread out on a larger surface. Due to these aspects, the counter is also extremely suitable for fish smaller than 1g.

The AquaScan CSW counter must be connected to the KD control unit and possibly PC connection.

Aqua-Life fish pumps The Aqua-Life Pumps are hydraulically driven, submersible or non-submersible fish pumps,

constructed of marine grade alloy aluminium, making them very light weight and easily moved in and out of raceways or ponds.

The unique features of a submersible pump are NO priming and NO harmful negative or positive pressure changes to the fish.

The Aqua-life pumps have been designed and developed specifically for the movement of live fish without external or internal damage.

The pumps are delivered in sizes from 6 to 14 inches on the inlet side. Max pump head is 9m and max fish size is 9kg.

Aqua-Life fish pumps are suitable for most fish species and crustaceans. We deliver the pumps in five different types: 640-P, 860-P, 1080-P, 1210-P and 1614-P.

Blue Comfort P16 fish Pump

Easy to operate. The flexible hoses may be placed on top of the machine. Just connect the fish pump to the power supply and the pump is fully operational.

The strong and adjustable supporting leg makes it easy to handle.

A large inlet funnel and custom built connections enable gentle pumping. The funnel is fitted with rubber protection to ensure that the fish are unharmed during suction.

The fish are separated from the water by a large bar separator before weighing and sorting. The water is led back into the pond.

The pump itself is a simple construction, which leads to reliable operation and few repairs. The containers may be tilted to provide constant pumping and they can operate without the use of electronics. This prevents operational failures caused by frost, humidity and the ingress of water into vulnerable parts.

The fish scale machine may be fitted with a funnel for manual operation.

The fish are fed into the scale and the revolving cylinder, which is emptied into the basket at every complete turn. Each quantity of fish is weighed, each weight is registered and displayed. The counting mechanism can total the individual quantities. The accumulated quantities of fish are easily read off the weight display.

After weighing, the fish are gently returned to the production pond or tube system for delivery.

The fish scale can be fed manually or

operated together with the fish pump.

Lumic Anaesthetic Machine

Using both hands the operator places the

fish with the head first into two troughs.

The fish slides down together with water to

the vaccination chamber. On the way

down the channel the fish turns

automatically into swimming position.

During the time in the vaccination chamber

the fish will be held stable by the means of

two plates, one each side, and injected by

a needle through an opening in the

chamber. When the vaccination is

completed a sluice will open and the fish

will be let out. At the same time, the inlet

sluice will open and let a new fish into the

chamber. This sluice system prevents two

fish being in the chamber simultaneously.

Anaesthetic Machines

Virkon S for Aquaculture Biological decomposable disinfectant for use on

equipment and buildings in fish farming. Efficient to all known viruses, mycoplasma, fungus,

bacteria and spores. Virkon S consists of surface-active elements; organic

acids, oxidant and inorganic buffer which together give a very efficient disinfection.

Recommended concentration: 1% (IPN virus). Example: 200 g Virkon S per 20l water. Contact time: 10 min (IPN virus).

Consumption, surface disinfection; 0.2-0.2l solution per m2. i.e. approx 2g Virkon S per m2

Virkon S kills eggs, fingerlings and fish if using the recommended concentrations.

Disinfection Mat Two types: With or without lid. Both types have replaceable

internal plastic foam. Foot bath gives an efficient disinfection of footwear. However,

the disinfection mat will get dirty after some time. Therefore, the mat should be cleaned once a week. Simultaneously new disinfectant must be added, e.g. Virkon S.

ArvoTec Control System The ArvoTec control system is a fully

integrated feeding, measurement, alarm and light dimming control system.

Feed amounts are automatically calculated separately to each tank according to automatically updated biomass data and incoming water temperature and oxygen content.

The system is easy to use with a menu driven display in the control unit or an optional Microsoft Windows based PC connection.

The ArvoTec Network System enables a central control of data flow related to feeding, measurements and alarms from one or more farms. Robot feeding and individual feeding can be combined in the same network.

Possible remote control of your farm from a different office or using GSM mobile technology.

OxyGuard Handy pH The OxyGuard Handy pH is a hand-held, pocket size pH/redox meter designed for use in demanding, wet environments. The meter itself and the electrode assembly are waterproof. OxyGuard Handy Atmosphere

The Handy Atmosphere is essentially a Handy Polaris with measuring range and probe suited to measuring oxygen in gas. It can measure both high and low levels of oxygen. OxyGuard Portable CO2 Analyzer

The OxyGuard CO2 Portable is a reliable and easy to use instrument that measures the free dissolved carbon dioxide concentration directly in the water. The CO2 concentration is shown on the display and there is an analogue output. A version with built-in data logger is available. The OxyGuard CO2 measures the free dissolved CO2 directly and is not affected by carbonates or other dissolved substances.

It is the free dissolved CO2 - in other words the CO2 gas partial pressure - that affects the fish. The OxyGuard CO2 thus gives simple, continuous and direct measurements of the amount of carbon dioxide in the water that will affect the fish. The analyser is easy to calibrate using the front panel "slope" and "zero" adjustments, after which you just put the probe in the water and measure. Calibration intervals are long, and the OxyGuard CO2 does NOT need regular maintenance.

YSI Pro ODO The new Pro ODOTM provides traditional YSI quality in a handheld dissolved oxygen instrument with luminescent optical dissolved oxygen (DO) technology. The Pro ODO utilises smart digital sensor technology which stores calibration data within the sensor. This allows probes to be placed on any Pro ODO instrument without re-calibration.

YSI ODO technology reduces the time required calibrating and maintaining sensors while utilizing a user replaceable sensing element that requires approximately an annual replacement. OxyGuard 8 System MODULAR CONSTRUCTION There are two sizes, OxyGuard 6 or 8. These can be fitted with up to 6 or 8 transmitters. It is possible to begin with a single measurement and expand later – this can be performed by the user. You only pay for what you need! REGULATION AND CONTROL Each channel (measurement) has a change-over contact to control diffusers or other dosing equipment. ALARMS There is an extensive alarm system, with individual low alarm, common high alarm and common low alarm contact outputs. The common alarms will

also trigger on power failure. SAFETY The above alarm functions give good security. The units can also, as standard, be connected to 24 VDC, e.g. from a battery. Change-over will automatically take place if the mains supply fails. If a fault in one channel occurs the rest will carry on working – and the fault can easily be rectified by changing a transmitter. DATA COLLECTION & RECORDING CONNECTION Can easily be performed by making connection to the analogue output signals. OXYGEN, TEMPERATURE AND pH OxyGuard systems can also be used to measure, monitor and control temperature and pH as well as oxygen – mixed in the same system. GALVANIC ISOLATION Each input is galvanically isolated from all other circuits. This ensures good noise immunity and reliable measurement.

The MultiLog is designed for use with the older OxyGuard 6 and OxyGuard 8 units, but can be used for other instruments. MultiLog is a data logger with a maximum of 8 channels. OxyGuard Atlantic The OxyGuard Atlantic is an accurate, reliable and easy to use oxygen meter with features ideal for use in aquaculture facilities such as shrimp farms, carp farms and other installations with individual large ponds. It measures both dissolved oxygen and temperature and has 4 relay outputs. The dissolved oxygen measurement is compensated for atmospheric pressure, which permits accurate control of aerators. The user can link setpoints to parameters as desired. Setpoints can then be linked to output relays. It is also possible to link setpoints together. This permits, for example, an aerator to be started both from a DO setpoint and a temperature set point. mg/l (ppm), % saturation and oC The Atlantic has a barometric pressure sensor, and the probe incorporates a temperature sensor. This gives you correct values of dissolved oxygen in both mg/l and % saturation. And, of course, you don't need a separate temperature measurement. Safety First! The Atlantic has four relay outputs and 8 set points. There will always be at least one relay output that can be used to give an alarm if the oxygen level goes too low or the temperature too high. And since Atlantic measures both parameters and has logical linking you only need to use one relay. Timer functions The Atlantic has 8 timers that can be used for a number of purposes. For example, alarm can be delayed so that only a sustained fault results in alarm being given. OxyGuard OxyLog The OxyLog measures oxygen and temperature in the environment The OxyLog consists of a battery powered data logger with displays in a sturdy cabinet and a combined oxygen and temperature probe. It can be chained to a tree or post ―in the wilds‖ and be left to monitor and register values of dissolved oxygen and temperature for months. The PC software that is included in the package makes it very easy to transfer values and to observe what happened when.

Commander systems can, just like the traditional OxyGuard multi-channel systems be extended and adapted, but the Commander provides possibilities far beyond the scope of any traditional system. There is no limit to the number of channels that can be incorporated, just add the units you need, and the system can be divided into sections that will function alone even if connection to the rest of the bus network is broken. Wiring is greatly reduced since input and output units can be placed close to where the actual measurements are made or to where control is effected. The Commander Probe is an improvement on previous OxyGuard probes. You no longer need to choose between mg/l and % saturation. The Commander gives you both. Temperature probes are no longer required, as the Commander also measure temperature. The Commander Probe is as near maintenance free as modern technology permits.

HydroTech DrumFilter Micro-screening is an efficient and reliable technique for separation of particles from all kinds of liquids. Hydrotech develop and manufacture high performance filters for water purification and product recovery. The Hydrotech Drumfilter is a mechanical and self cleaning filter specially designed with a view to achieving high performance in systems where it is essential to prevent the particles from fragmentation. The filter works without pressure and is robustly designed with few moving parts to ensure long life and low maintenance costs.

HydroTech’s patented filter elements greatly simplify both the replacement and change of the filter opening size. The drum is constructed in sections, each with three, four or five filter elements depending on diameter. This facilitates maintenance and makes it easy to adapt the filter to actual need of flow capacity and performance requirements of filtration. The HydroTech Drumfilter is specially suitable in fish farming systems where it is essential to prevent the particles from fragmentation. Both in re-circulated systems and in open systems for intake and outlet water.

HydroTech DiscFilter The Hydrotech DiscFilter is a range of micro screens for solids removal and product recovery. The disc design is particularly advantageous when a large filter area is needed. The compactness of the disc filter configuration result in 2-3 times more filter area compared with drum filters with same external dimensions. This makes the Hydrotech Disc filter a good choice for recirculation systems, effluent polishing of waste water, fine

filtration of intake water, or other applications where a space-saving filter with fine filter openings and large filter area is required. In normal operation the disc filter is approximately 60 % submerged and the head loss across the screen varies between 50 and 200 mm. Maximum allowable head loss in continuous operation is 300 mm. Back-wash and rotation can be continuous or controlled by an SS or 316 SS. titanium or special alloys. Filter cloth is made of polyester or 316 SS.

Water Filtration

HydroTech BeltFilter The Hydrotech Beltfilter is made for efficient filtration and draining of sludge and wastewater. It is an automatic, self-cleaning filter specially designed to achieve optimal performance in systems where high solids content in the dewatered sludge is essential. Sludge or wastewater is led into the filter 1 and passes by gravity through the filter belt 2. The belt is designed as a slowly moving conveyer installed in a stainless steel tank. As the water passes through the filter, the filtering process ensures the efficient removal of particles. These particles are drained on the belt to a high dry matter content. The dewatered sludge is removed at the top of the filter 3 and discharged through a hopper 4 for final treatment. Backwash System: Dewatered sludge is scraped off the belt which is then cleaned by a high-pressure water rinse system. (backwash unit retracted for visibility). The belt is further cleaned by a high-pressure backwash system 5 and the rinse water is led either back to the process or to further treatment. The Belt filter is normally operated intermittently (demand) controlled by a level switch.

Bernoulli In Line Self Cleaning Filter Bernoulli AB develops and delivers self-cleaning filters for continuous filtration of liquids in pressurised systems. These can be used to remove sediment and debris from natural water sources such as sea or river water, or to remove particles from process liquids. Our filters harness the power of a natural physical phenomenon, which leads to an ingeniously simple but highly reliable filtering operation.

The Bernoulli cleaning principle In a Bernoulli filter, the bulk of the work is done by a disc mounted on a pneumatic cylinder. The filter basket is cleaned by this disc as water passes through a gap between the disc and the basket. Flow velocity increases locally around the disc and, in accordance with the Bernoulli principle, the static pressure is reduced. It is the vacuum effect of lower static pressure around the edge of the disc that cleans the basket. Advantages Simple and ingenious cleaning system with few moving parts, ensuring

high operational reliability and simple maintenance. A low and constant pressure drop, the same in both clean and dirty

conditions. Low flushing pressure: from 0,3 bar g. Easy installation: the Bernoulli Filter can be fitted directly to pipelines. Any horizontal or vertical

position is possible. Good corrosion resistance: filter bodies in PVC and glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) are

particularly suitable for corrosive sea water, stainless steel filter bodies for fresh water applications.

Oxygen Production AirSep Oxygen Generators eliminate the expense, inconvenience, hazardous handling and storage problems often associated with purchased liquid or high pressure oxygen. The 13 standard models AirSep offers are the most efficient and dependable generators available today. Fully automatic, they require no specialized operating personnel. Simply connect an air compressor to the generator and your oxygen distribution system to the generators oxygen receiver. Then connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet, turn the unit on, and set your oxygen delivery pressure. A simple on-off switch supplies oxygen whenever you need it.

Why a PSA and not a VSA system ? 1. PSA produces oxygen which is stored in a holding tank, this allows

the system to deal with a crash situation which is common in aquaculture.

2. PSA is not running 24 hours a day seven days a week, both compressor and generator go on stand by when storage tank is full and comes on has tank is been used. VSA booster has to run all the time to maintain pressure which makes running costs between systems negotiable.

3. PSA uses two way solenoid valves since they have proven to be significantly more reliable than 4 way solenoids used in VSA.

4. PSA can produce oxygen up to 5 bar directly, VSA has to use an oxygen booster which can produce up to 3.4 bar, are very complex and require more maintenance than standard compressors.

Oxygen Injectors

OxyTech OXYTECH is a well proven system for in line, large scale oxygen enrichment of water. Oxytech has been invented and designed for aquaculture by us.

High capacity Oxytech is a vacuum driven mixing unit for total oxygen enrichment of the water flow. This method is often recommended because the efficiency always will stay at its maximum. Enrichment can be done either on the main water line or on the individual pipes to the fish tank, with separate regulation. In addition to the gross enrichment of the water it is recommended to adjust the oxygen level in the individual tank with diffuser elements, based on direct measurement in each fish tank. This also adds extra security in the case of circulation failure or pump stop.

Very economic Oxytech works by taking out a separate flow which is enriched in a special venturi process. This mixture further goes into a vacuum chamber where the oxygen is left to dissolve properly. Because the chamber is pressurized the water will be super - saturated. All surplus gas is collected at the top inside and is well remixed through an injector system. This recycling ensures a high efficiency and a rich solution of both dissolved gas and microscopic bubbles. The efficiency’s will in practical terms be 100 %.

Low pressure = low cost Oxytech operates at a relatively low pressure, which is good for two reasons. Principally the energy costs for operation will be low. Secondly - Oxytech can make use of all types of oxygen supplies. This adds freedom to choosing the source of oxygen, and even to save even more by producing oxygen on site.

Hands on experience with instalment and operation has given us very useful feedback, which has been incorporated into the design. At a great number of fishfarms, Oxytech contributes significantly to savings, higher production output and net returns. Point-Four Trac Lock Diffusers

Point Four Trac-Lock diffusers are an economical alternative to the Point Four MBD’s (Micro-Bubble Diffusers). Like the MBDs, they are good for use with pure oxygen or carbon dioxide for Aquaculture applications. Their modular design allows for greater flexibility and the plastic base eliminates the possibility of corrosion. The flat plate design ensures bubbles across the entire surface. The slim design will not hinder fish netting and is ideal for Fish Transportation systems. The ―twist and lock‖ design allows for easy diffusing area adjustment or for simple removal of sections for cleaning or servicing. The Trac-Lock diffuser delivers a high gas absorption efficiency, depending on the submerged depth, flow rate, and dissolved oxygen concentration. Typically 40% to 50% at 1 m depth; can be as high as 80% or even 100% at depths of 6m or more.

Point-Four Wedge Lock Diffusers WEDGE-LOCKTM is a modular system of diffusers and end sets that fit together to form a bank of up to eight units. Oxygenation capacity can be increased (or decreased) as your needs demand by simply changing the number of diffusers used for greater flexibility and minimal downtime. Point-Four Micro Bubble Diffusers One of the simplest ways to dissolve gases, such as oxygen or carbon dioxide, in water is to introduce the gas as small bubbles - the smaller the bubbles the more efficient the absorption of the gas. The Point Four microbubble oxygen diffuser produces a cloud of extremely fine bubbles - 100 to 500 microns. This is much finer than graphite or carborundum diffusers porous hose and because the diffuser is flat, the bubbles do not coalesce as with circular section diffusers. The Point Four diffuser uses an ultra fine pore ceramic plate which ensures uniform bubbles across its entire surface. The ceramic is a clean and inert material.

Oxygen Diffusers

Bio-Weave Diffusers Self-weighted Bio-Weave diffuser hose is a popular method of introducing air and oxygen into hauling tanks, culture tanks, lakes or wherever long flexible diffusion is needed. It's made of a strong, woven Dacron material that will last for years. Operating range is 0.2–0.6 cfm per foot. The diffuser surface is a soft fiber that flexes easily. Because Bio-Weave is self-weighted, placement and removal of these large diffusers is simple. We make these medium-bubble diffusers with garden hose fittings (a cap on the male end and a 1/4inch male barb adapter on the female fitting). Bio-Weave has about a 20‖ H2O resistance to air flow, so it is marginally compatible with regenerative blowers. Ship weight is about 1 lb/foot. Note: Diffusers are also known as airstones.

CO2 Degasser

New CO2-aerator makes it possible for big reduction in water consumption Reasonable use of oxygen within land based fish farming has as known increased the capacity of site considerably. The key to further efficiency is to reduce and re-use the water. At Vik Settefisk, near Bergen in Norway has a new CO2 Aerator which has been on a recent trial. The aerator was tested during normal running at the site, by a specific water consumption at 0,1/l/new water/kg.fish/min. the CO2 level was reduced from 21 mg CO2 to 10 mg. CO2 in the fish tank (this corresponds to a reduction at more than 50%).

The water is supplied with a large amount of O2 during the aerator. Samplings done by the site manager Bjarte Landro shows 75 % saturation in to the aerator and 95% saturation out of the aerator. By good O2 regulation in the tanks at approximately 75% saturation is it a lot of O2 that aerates in to the water. Calculations show that the value of the O2 that the aerator adds to the water covers the electricity expenses for the aerator. The trials were carried out during one week in September 2008. Bjarte Landro observed the fish during the trial period and confirms that both the growth and the appetite were very good during the whole period.

CO2 Degasser Can improve production by improving flow currents in tanks generating more oxygen whilst removing CO2, offering lower energy consumption and reduced running costs.

WEDECO Tak 25 & 55 Wherever waste water can enter water used for bathing or drinking, or when waste water is to be recycled - e.g. in agriculture, targeted disinfection of the waste water is necessary. The modularly designed UV system WEDECO TAK 55 allows practically unlimited quantities of waste water to be disinfected - absolutely safely and energy-efficiently. The UV system WEDECO TAK 55 is ITT’s solution for safe, more environmentally friendly waste water disinfection. The philosophy behind WEDECO TAK 55 is absolutely reliable operation and objective performance for long-term deployment. The system has been validated according to standards recognised across the globe such as NWRI and US EPA. The WEDECO TAK 55 UV system has been specially developed for the disinfection of waste water from clarification plant processes. Installed within the effluent channel, the modular, compact construction of the TAK plant allows for the treatment of practically unlimited flow quantities.

WEDECO BX The reactors of the WEDECO BX series are equipped with efficient high-performance low-pressure SpektrothermTM UV lamps. In combination with special flow installations for the improvement of hydraulic conditions, very good disinfection results are achieved with low energy consumption at the same time. Vario dose control: Less energy consumption - longer emitter running times The SpektrothermTM lamp technology does not only enable an increased UV-C performance, but also a variable controlling of the lamp power from 50 - 100%. This development makes using the modern dose control possible, which leads both to a reduction of the energy consumption and to extended emitter lifetimes. Automatic wiping system reduces deposits BX UV systems are already designed for fast and simple maintenance, e.g. through simple disassembly with manual cleaning or the standard integrated chemical rinsing system. In addition, WEDECO BX equipment can be optionally fitted with an automatic wiping system, which prevents the formation of organic and inorganic deposits on the protective quartz pipes. Therefore interruptions to operation are practically ruled out thanks to manual cleaning of the emitter cladding pipes. The chemical-free wiping system works with PTFE viton wiper rings, which are not impaired themselves by the intensive UV-radiation at the emitter surface.
