Time was over for Silvio Berlusconi. Almost 20

years, and not sure is really the end.

He resigned in shame, but I think time will assess

him in a more elaborate way. For sure, with his

resignation, all sudden we all get those 20 years

    added to our life.

There was a life withouth Berlusconi, theBerlusconi years and now we are into next. The

gent, he was quite a disaster, but I am pretty sure

that next years will be worse.

More sweet quote from our dearest Silvio at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-15642201

    I am not a saint, you've all

    understood that.

    A Ceramic Tiled Skin

    Between the various presentations, performances

and things happening at Schloss for the "Chronicles

of Work 1", I was very curious to see the

presentation by Louisa Hutton. I like quite much

the work she does with her husband Matthias

(Sauerbruch) and her presentation on the

Brandhorst Museum in Munich was actually fairly

fascinating. She also talked at lenght about the

time she spent with Peter and Alison Smithson,

when she was young. This, I didn't know and once

she mentioned it, I understood the roots of a lot of

things I like of Sauerbruch and Hutton works. More

about the Brandhorst skin at: http://www.

    Wolves and Villagers

One evening at Schloss, it was late and we were

quite a large group of peopledrinking and chit-

chatting. When it was time togo sleep, Sasha and

Karoline's proposed to play this game called

"Wolves and Villagers". I never played it before,

and I thought it was an odd idea to start to play a

game (whatever the game is) at 1 AM. But the

other people grew excited and in few minutes I

found myself funneled in one of the most

fascinating games I've ever played. We played till

dawn, and it was at once exciting, gruesome,

mean and really enjoyable. It would be too long to

explain the rules here. Much better to give you the

link to Wikipedia entry (I finally understood this

game is quite an important thing, invented by a

Russian psychologist under the name of "Mafia" in

the 1980's). Anyway, here the link to Dimitry

    Product of Circumstances

Another very special thing I've seen during this

symposium at Schloss, it was this performance byXavier Le Roy. He describes the whole act writing:

""I began to take two dance classes a week at the

same time that I started to work on my thesis for

my Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology. Its

been now eight years that I have submitted mythesis and stopped to work as a biologist. Since I

work as a dancer or choreograph I am very often

presented as an atypical dancer or as a dancer

molecular biologist. It became my currency in the

    "Society

    Tacita Dean & Red Flower

One of the nice things of this "Chronicles of Work

1" symposium was to meet again a number ofsmart and interesting people I've met earlier in the

year. Tacita Dean presented her movie: "Edwin

Parker". Not simple and immediate to understand

(some of her previous works were easier to grasp),

but surely another deep and sharp cut into herobsession for time, decaying bodies, ageing, and a

lot of other spooky (henceforth fascinating)

themes. Apart from the work itself, she was very

kind, talkative and open to explanation, dialogue

    (as usual). Very

rare. An excellent artist, an open person, a

fascinating researcher of people's mind (you

couldn't ask for more). More about "Edwin Parker"

    I like this display...

Of course I like, because I was part of the little

team setting the whole thing up. It was our:

"There is no solution because there is no problem"display at Schloss Solitude event. The event was:

"Chronicles of Work 1. Work without qualities".

    Tweet_Ville

Out of this thing in Schloss Solitude, our little

display had various parts. There were the

papercrafts, the project for the iphone scale

rollcoaster (to be used as a dolly to make a short

movie out of our little papercraft town), etc.

Between the various things we also launched

Tweet_Ville, an essay / manifesto on what we are

doing (and why we are doing) usingTwitter as the

main medium. You can follow @twt_ville at: https:
