Applications in the form of a personal resume are to be submitted to the Board of Trustees at the Valley Offices and must be received by 12:00 PM May 13, 2011. Applications will then be reviewed, interviews will be held and a final determination made hopefully before the Annual Election and Installation of Officers on May 19th. In this issue of the Tidings you will find announcements of upcoming events. They require some type of reservation and up front payment. Please pay attention to the date the reservation/s are due and the amounts due with the reservation. Please plan to attend as many as you can.
Also in this issue is an announcement of my retirement as Executive Secretary for the Valley and information as to how to apply for it for those who feel they would be interested in assuming this job.
As this will most likely be my last column as Executive Secretary for the Tidings I just wanted to say thank you to all who have supported me and helped me while I occupied this position. There are so many of you to thank so I won’t try and name you all but you know who you are and please know that I sincerely appreciate your help and friendship.
And please know that your Board of Trustees works hard to keep this Valley afloat and makes its decisions based on the best interests of the Valley and its members. They have a tough job and can use all the help and support you can give. If I can ask you to do one thing on their behalf it would be not to sit back and criticize but get involved and find out firsthand what is going on and what you can do to help. Remember that Harmony is the strength and support of all institutions especially this.
I wish my successor and all of you the very best. And my brethren always remember:
