Transcript of 2010 Updates Visual Identity System. PREVIOUS GUIDELINES REQUIREMENTS (EST. 2005) No graphic device...
PREVIOUS GUIDELINES REQUIREMENTS (EST. 2005)
• No graphic device other than the official Texas Tech coat of arms may be “locked up” or configured with the official logotype to represent an academic entity.
• In recognition of existing awareness of the Double T as the most visible and recognizable symbol of Texas Tech, the Double T may be included as a secondary symbol on marketing and communications materials.
NEW GUIDELINES
• To address the multitude of requests for extending the use of the Double T, the guidelines are being broadened.
• Each unit will now have an official Double T signature, which combines the Double T with Texas Tech University or Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and the unit name.
• The enhanced visual identity guidelines now give all units the opportunity to tailor their communications based on the type of message and the audience to which they are communicating.
• The coat of arms will remain a primary academic mark.
• And, as one of our most beloved and visible symbols, the Double T can now be used more broadly in the identity guidelines.
