Free Passes To LA Car Show to View Fisker Karma

Fisker of Orange County welcomes the all-new Fisker Karma at the 2010 LA AutoShow. The LA Auto Show will mark the historic arrival of the modern electric carera. The auto show will host 20 world debuts and more than 30 North Americandebuts across virtually all vehicle categories.

Southern California car enthusiasts and those who are considering the Fisker canstop into Irvine BMW to pickup free passes to the LA Car Show. You can obtainpasses by asking for Steve Rudkin, General Manager when you arrive.

Steve Rudkin Will Lead New California Fisker Store

“We’re excited that the Fisker Karma will be showcased in LA,” said Fisker of OrangeCounty General Manager, Steve Rudkin. “The all- new Fisker Karma sets thestandard for electric luxury vehicles, and we’re excited to see what spectators willsay,” he said.

The Karma uses Q-DRIVE plug-in hybrid technology, developed exclusively forFisker Automotive by Quantum Technologies. A fully charged Karma burns no fuelfor the first 50 miles. Venture further and the gasoline engine turns a generator tocharge the lithium ion battery. Once the 50-mile electric range has been exceeded,the car operates as a normal hybrid vehicle.

The balance of electric and gas range makes it entirely possible that Karma driverswho charge their car overnight and commute less than 50 miles a day will achievean average fuel economy of 100 mpg (2.4L/100km) per year.
