He was the master of his house, and very pure in heart He could solve any problem, Did I mention he's smart? And he never endured...oh wait what's that noise? Are those cries that I hear? Is that a little baby boy? I awake from my dream, just when it's getting good Was I a great King? A present day Robin Hood? I stumble to the nursery, with my lingering dream When the sight I behold, makes me smile and beam. No dream lays before me, but a sweet vision is this, I lean over the crib rail, and give my newborn son a kiss, I am now a proud father! My greatest dream has come true! (Well other than that dream where I mastered Kung Fu). With last year's Christmas poem, our lips were still zipped, Mendi was pregnant, but we weren't ready to let slip... That the Second of August, our son was due to appear, There was so much to get ready, in the upcoming year! I toiled and I worked, I slaved til I dropped, "Honey, I want pickles, and make sure that they're chopped!" "We need to paint the nursery, and fix it all up." "Oh and get me some Ice Cream, with fries and ketchup!" OK I'm just kidding, my wife really was pleasant (though I certainly learned, Ice Cream makes a great present) She dealt with morning sickness, and many sleepless nights And through itching and swelling, she earned her "Mommy rights." And when August rolled around, she was ready and done, But he was happy in her belly, I don't think he ever would've come, So a plan to induce, and a nice hospital trek, And our lives changed forever, but all for the best. When the time finally came, I couldn't help but smile, But then God threw us a wrench, with gusto and style, Our son's heartbeat plunged, and the hospital awoke, Mendi was raced to the O.R., and in my tears I was soaked. But I shouldn't have worried, for God always provides, With Dr. Ashbeck's great care, and Dr. Watt by her side, Christian Layton was born, at Two ounces and Eight pounds, Twenty-one inches long...no wonder Mendi was round! I'll try to lie and say, that I was a rock of support, But I was an emotional wreck, so my lie will fall short, I've never cried so hard, I was completely overcome, With love and concern for my wife, and for our unborn son. As you parents can attest, nothing really compares, To the first time holding your child; you just hold him and stare, So in the end it worked out, and with our new healthy boy, We're now a family of three, filled with absolute joy.

Merry Christmas from the Graybills!

Once upon a time, in a land sweet and fair Lived a very wise man, with nary a care This man was so gifted, with stunning physique And with great looks and charm (he was also quite meek).

He was the master of his house, and very pure in heart

He could solve any problem, Did I mention he's smart? And he never endured...oh wait what's that noise? Are those cries that I hear? Is that a little baby boy?

I awake from my dream, just when it's getting good Was I a great King? A present day Robin Hood? I stumble to the nursery, with my lingering dream When the sight I behold, makes me smile and beam.

No dream lays before me, but a sweet vision is this,I lean over the crib rail, and give my newborn son a kiss,I am now a proud father! My greatest dream has come true! (Well other than that dream where I mastered Kung Fu).

With last year's Christmas poem, our lips were still zipped,Mendi was pregnant, but we weren't ready to let slip...That the Second of August, our son was due to appear,There was so much to get ready, in the upcoming year!

I toiled and I worked, I slaved til I dropped,"Honey, I want pickles, and make sure that they're chopped!" "We need to paint the nursery, and fix it all up." "Oh and get me some Ice Cream, with fries and ketchup!"

OK I'm just kidding, my wife really was pleasant (though I certainly learned, Ice Cream makes a great present)She dealt with morning sickness, and many sleepless nights

And through itching and swelling, she earned her "Mommy rights."

And when August rolled around, she was ready and done,But he was happy in her belly, I don't think he ever would've come,So a plan to induce, and a nice hospital trek,And our lives changed forever, but all for the best.

When the time finally came, I couldn't help but smile,But then God threw us a wrench, with gusto and style,Our son's heartbeat plunged, and the hospital awoke,Mendi was raced to the O.R., and in my tears I was soaked.

But I shouldn't have worried, for God always provides,

With Dr. Ashbeck's great care, and Dr. Watt by her side,Christian Layton was born, at Two ounces and Eight pounds,Twenty-one inches long...no wonder Mendi was round!

I'll try to lie and say, that I was a rock of support,But I was an emotional wreck, so my lie will fall short,I've never cried so hard, I was completely overcome,With love and concern for my wife, and for our unborn son.

As you parents can attest, nothing really compares,To the first time holding your child; you just hold him and stare,So in the end it worked out, and with our new healthy boy,We're now a family of three, filled with absolute joy.

So our hospital stay, didn't start as we planned,But it was so very special, and with great staff on hand...From our Doctors to Marie, our wonderful nurse,Our memories will last forever, of our son Christian's birth.

Now an apology must be given, to many on our list,We sent out birth announcements, with a slight little twist...Extra postage was required (I'm sorry we didn't know),So I'm sorry if yours was lost, or if you coughed up some dough.

Born August the Third, Christian has lots of friends,As many friends had babies, in Two Thousand and Ten,My sister had Ayla, a sweet baby girl,Only nine days after Christian, what a crazy, crazy world!

But with Mendi's twin sister, this really takes the cake,She was due one day before us (their mom did a double take)Kendal's seven days older, so they'll be best of friends,Always playing with each other, the fun will never end.

So with Ayla and Kendal, add Ainsley and Riv,Can't wait to meet Victoria, our love we send and give,

And then there is Rock, and naturally Hudson,Followed by sweet Caroline, and my friend's infant Collin.

And with friends we're looking forward, to even more births,With more babies on the way, let's repopulate the earth! Each child is a blessing, a wonderful gift from above,Such a joy to watch grow, surrounded in love.

One other event, was a highlight of our year,My first book was published, which was worth a loud cheer,Pazurgo's now in stores, on bookshelves in print,If you're looking for Christmas presents, I know of one (hint hint).

This puzzle sure has been, a labor of love,It's taken lots of work, and is something I'm proud of,I've been busy with the book, and doing some signings,And starting work on an app (I'm still just designing).

I've included a puzzle, based on the words of this poem,Use the example as your guide, and see more at Pazurgo.com,And if your family and friends, enjoy Crosswords or Scrabble,Please tell them about Pazurgo (but be careful not to babble)!

As we cherish our newborn, we are reminded of another,The birth of God's son, born to Christ's Virgin mother,We worship this Christmas, celebrating Christ's holy birth,And what He has meant, for each of us on this Earth.

We know that times are tough, for many of you,And so we hope and pray, that Christ's love will shine through,That he'll bless each of you, from the big to the small,And we send you our love, a Very Merry Christmas to all!

Love,Mendi, Jeremy, & Christian
