Serious OpticsFor Serious Hunters

An established icon on the American hunting scene for 40 years. Burris is all about

serious optics for serious hunters. Hunters like you who carry tough, trusted and

dependable equipment that will perform to the highest standards wherever you

hunt, from the woodlands of Bavaria to the plains of Colorado. The Burris Company

is all about a shared passion for Hunting and the need to continually innovate

and invest in our passion.

BURRIS – AN AMERICAN ICON

With over 100 individual parts in some

scopes, there is little tolerance for

error. As an ISO 9001:2000 registered

company we work to the highest

standards in the industry and many

of our working practices and products

exceed German optical standards –

considered to be the most demanding

in the world.

We are proud of our history of

innovation, that continues today with

the launch of the Eliminator Laser scope

with fi eld-proven,

bright crystal-clear

optics combined with

a rangefi nder and

automatic trajectory compensation.

The Eliminator is another remarkable

Burris innovation which advances

industry technology and provides

signifi cant benefi ts for the hunter and

shooter. Our class-leading SixX series

offers one of the most advanced optical

designs available anywhere with its

6:1 magnifi cation ratio that lets you

quickly set the right power level for any

hunting situation – from thick brush to

long-range precision.

This catalogue shows our range of

innovative products available in your

country. For further information

BURRIS – A HISTORY OF INNOVATION

There are many industry-fi rst innovations associated from Burris:

• The first constantly centered

non magnifying reticle in

variable power scopes

• The first 4 – 12 x, 6 - 18 x

and 8 - 32 x riflescopes

• The first Accu-Range

trajectory compensating

dual reticle scope

• The first variable power

hand gun scopes

• The first riflescope made

of titanium

• The first trajectory compen-

sating single plane reticle

• The first optical shotgun

sight that mounts in the

normal sight-plane (the

SpeedBead system)

• The first riflescope that

laser ranges a target, provides

a perfect hold over for angle

of shot and cartridge being

used (the Eliminator)

In more than 20 years of hunting

experience in France and other

European countries I have tested

many famous brand names.

I found superb quality and precision

with my Burris Eliminator 4 - 12 x 42

scope and my Tikka rifl e T3.

Ultimate proof for highest perfor-

mance of Burris and Tikka was the

Wapiti with almost 380 kg which I

brought down at 330 m distance in

the Rocky Mountains of Colorado,

USA in October 2009.

With best wishes for the coming hunting season!

Eliminator Laserscope™

Range, Aim & FireThe Eliminator is in a league of its

own. No other rifl escope combines

this level of quality, technology,

accuracy, simplicity, repeatability

and effectiveness. You do the

hunting and shooting, the Eliminator

will do the memorizing and calculating.

No more guessing distance or

fumbling with a handheld device.

No more losing sight of your trophy.

No more guessing holdover.

The Eliminator, your hunting partner,

knows exactly how far away your

game stands and exactly what your

cartridge will do.

With the Eliminator,

just Range, Aim

and Fire.

The Eliminator provides a sophisti-

cated yet very simple and accurate

means of tailoring the scope’s

trajectory compensation to virtually

any cartridge. The Eliminator

provides a listing of nearly 600

factory loaded cartridges along

with a two digit drop number

associated with each.

A few clicks in the set-up mode is

all it takes to enter or change the

drop number to perfectly match

your specifi c cartridge’s ballistic

performance.

100 % Fogproof thanks to Nitrogen Filling

Every scope is fi lled with

nitrogen which is then

vacuumed out of the scope.

This is repeated 24 times

to assure absolutely no

moisture is left in the scope.

A fi nal fi lling of laboratory

grade nitrogen is left in each

scope. Moisture can reduce

the optical performance

(fogging) and harm the

lenses and mechanical

components. Therefore,

Burris has implemented the

general principle to fi ll all

scopes with Nitrogen and

to use the best sealing

technology (Quad Seals)

to prevent regular air from

entering the scope.

RigorousDurability Testing

Burris scopes are tested to

withstand extreme 70 G of force

(60x more force than a Saturn V

rocket has to take in a maximum

boost phase).

Burris lenses are broad band

multi-coated to ensure best

light transmission results. Burris

applies several coatings to each

lens surface with each coating

being only 1 nanometer thick.

The advanced coating technology

reduces refl exions, increases the

light transmission, ensures true

colours and best contrast.

The optical quality of each
