Expansion of Standardization CourseThe courses offered by Kwansei Gakuin University (MBA) and Tokyo Institute of Technology (MOT) have been popular among their students, and recently certified as college courses without any support from JSA.
The MOT course at Waseda University is also going to offer the ‘Technological Standards Strategy’ course (2 college credits) from fiscal 2010.
The Graduate School of Intellectual Property at Nihon University is going to offer the ‘International Standardization and Intellectual Property’ course (2 college credits) from fiscal 2011.
・ Actively promote the introduction of some standardization course (2 - 4 college credits) to the graduate schools, which have MOT and/or MIP
courses.・ For other graduate schools, encourage them to give a few classes regarding the
standardization in their Business Strategy and/or Technology Management courses that are mandatory for an MBA degree.
・ It is also essential to introduce some Intellectual Property and Standardization courses for students who are majoring in engineering, business and commerce or business administration.
