2018-2019 Durham College Annual Program Review (APR) Report Annual Program Review Report Template 2018-2019 1 Introduction andPurpose It is essential that DurhamCollege programscontinuouslyimproveandevolveastheneedsandprioritiesofstudents,employers,communitiesandthe institution change. The Annual Program Review (APR) is intended to be used by program stakeholders in pursuit of this objective.Itis to be a collaborative process. Oncecompletedandanalyzed,theAPRwillhelptheprogramstakeholders establishpriorities and identify any aspectsofthe program requiring immediate attention. TheAPRprocess supports regular program maintenance and contributes to the cumulative data to the internal Comprehensive Program Review process that occur everyfiveto seven yearsatDurham College. ACriticalPath is provided and contains the pathway and milestones required for the APR process. TheAPR willbecompleted byJune15ofeach academic year. Astatusupdatewillbe submitted within six months ofthe finalreportdeadline. The APRReport contains three template sections: Section A supports the ExecutiveDean/Associate Dean Review oftheprogram.It containssuggested categoriesto considerduring the APRprocessand willbecompletedbythe ExecutiveDean/AssociateDean/Dean/Director in collaboration orconsultation with the Program Coordinator. Section B is theProgram Curriculum Reflection. Theembedded categoriesand indicatorswillbeused tothink critically and reflectively abouttheprogram curriculum.Program data (e.g.: retention report,program health matrix,KPI report card, PAC minutes, student feedback, etc.) should be considered, as appropriate. TheProgram Coordinator (or designate) willl eadthereflection,workingcollaborativelywith the Program Team. Section C is the RecommendationsandActionPlans. To complete, the Executive Dean/Associate Dean andProgram Coordinatorwilldraw from Sections A andB to build recommendations for program improvement and the action plans for implementation. Within 6 months ofthesubmission oftheAPR Report (June 15), the Program Coordinator willsubmitanupdated ActionPlan orStatusUpdate (usingSection C) to the Manager,Program Review and Renewal,forapprovalbythe AssociateVicePresident,Academic.
