The Raja Yoga Teacher Training course is designed for yoga students whohave an interest in expanding their knowledge in the practice and theoryof yoga. “Raja Yoga” is said to be the achievement of union with thesupreme Self – the goal of the path of yoga. This Yoga Alliance RegisteredCourse exceeds the curriculum standards and is intended to be a trans-formative experience for prospective teachers and established yoga prac-titioners.

• History and Philosophy of Yogathrough reading and discussion on classical yoga texts

• Techniques for the practice andteaching of asana, pranayama and meditation

• Posture alignment, assists and adjustments

• Teaching methods and sequencing

• Use of props and variations forphysical limitations

• Business and ethics of teachingyoga

• At least one year of continuousyoga practice

• Ability to be physically present fortraining days and weekends
