I have had a career as amachinist for 25 years and Iam a self-taught dressmaker.Im also a proud mother ofthree girls. I have alwaysbeen a hard worker and

independent. I found I needed an extraincome as my youngest daughter had juststarted University. After searching online I

found Kleeneze and left my details as I wasinterested in an opportunity that allowed me towork from home. I was already aware of Kleenezeand so I decided to give it a go. I was amazed toreceive 800 of orders from my first drop of 200catalogues. I went on to earn 484.53 in my first3 weeks.

Im excited because I know that the business works. After only 6 months working my business part-timeand earning 600+ per month and then laterearning 1000 per month it is now more than whatI currently earn full-time.

One of my future goals is to treat my mother andmy girls to the holidays that I feel we deserve. Iknow that Kleeneze can give me the time and

financial freedom to do this.Tracy Burton, Silver Distributor

My name is Lou Sims, and here I ampictured with my lovely 6 year olddaughter, Jill. I am a Gold distributorand have the start of a great teamwhich is steadily growing.

I am disabled on my left side.Consequently, I have limited use ofmy left arm and hand and walk with

a limp. I need to take care with mywalking as I have been prone totripping up and falling over! I amalso a widow (my husband was

tragically murdered in 2003 when our daughter was just 10 monthsold). I now work my business on a full time basis around my daughterwherever possible. I have managed to maintain our independence, both practically and financially day to day. Aside from having mydaughter, this has been one of my greatest achievements, certainly following my husbands death, and has been made possiblethrough Kleeneze.

I want to emphasise that Kleeneze is a business for everyone,

INCLUDING those with disabilities. It is an individuals attitude, determination and persistence which will make the difference tothe success of their business. Where there is a will, there is always

a way, and the Kleeneze business offers great flexibility whateveryour circumstances.

In 2008, I was awarded The Pole Position Group Top Retailer Award. My retailing results throughout the Christmas period were a big factorin ensuring the achievement of this award. During the first 8 weeks ofthe Christmas season I retailed in excess of 10,000 Bonus Points, earning myself over 5,200. I achieved this by servicing my customerbase, by doing extra blanket drops and by doing party plan.

My top party to date has been 654. The beauty of party plan, certainly with mobility issues in mind, is that sales can be generated inone place and then all the orders are delivered to the host for them todistribute to their friends. Party plan is also so very versatile. I have heldparties in peoples homes, at church fetes, at toddler groups, localschool events, to raise funds for local charities, the potential istremendous.

My personal hints and tips for incorporating parties into a businessplan are as follows:

    1. Read Lets Party by Jan Ruhe. Within this book are party gameswhich I have found very useful, template letters and much more.

    2. Keep good records, the customers you book parties with this yearwill be your party hostesses again in the future.

    3. Start with holding a party in your own home, in fact there is

Here at EWB, we learnt a few valuable lessons last weekend. The first always take an umbrella with you whengoing to see a fireworks display in northern England. Secondly, screaming at the television does not ensure thedemise of X-Factors John and Edward. And thirdly never leave your home to go Christmas shopping.

The third lesson weve apparently learned much later than the rest of the UK, as according to a recent survey byMORI, many Christmas shoppers would prefer a trip to the dentist rather than the stress of braving the shops forpresents. The survey showed that three out of 10 people find Christmas shopping in crowded streets morestressful than looking after a young baby and it takes at least two days for six out of ten people in the UK tocomplete their gift lists.Isnt it a shame that noteveryone knows that there is a much less traumaticway to complete your Christmas shopping?Kleeneze!

EWB caught up with two Distributorships one whohas had just one Christmas with Kleeneze so far and the other who has experienced12. Both of them are avid fans of this top retail season, so read carefully and make

sure you pick up some of their tips!

According to a recent survey, the worst thing aboutChristmas shopping is (in order):1. Finding the right gift (durr, theres loads to choose

from in our catalogues!)2. Crowded shops (you sit tight were on our way)3. Not having enough money (Cost effective, thats us)

    4. Queuing (did you not hear us two points ago?!

nothing to stop you doing this throughout the year as thecatalogues change. Utilise this opportunity to invite your friends, family, customers to preview new products coming in.

    4. Aim to get at least 1 or 2 bookings per party. If you plan to retailfrom parties alone, having 6 parties pre booked is a realistic targetto ensure sales are consistent and ongoing and the potential forfuture party bookings is strong.

    5. Approach your customers, friends, anyone you know to have aparty. When approaching customers, I ask if they would beinterested in receiving a discount off their next order, and then tellthem how, and take it from there.

    6. Just as you would be with your customer base, be reliable, consistent, and professional.Lou Sims

A Bronze Executive Distributorships Christmas Tips

Andrew and I both worked for NatWest Bank - Andrew 13 years as aFinancial Advisor and myself 23 years as a Lending Manager. We

joined Kleeneze in January 1998 to help one of us, at least, escapethe rat race and to save our sanity. Andrew resigned in December1998 and I followed him full time into Kleeneze in April of 1999.

This year will actually be our twelfth Kleeneze Christmas and eachone gets better with the fantastic product range. Retail increasesevery year during the Christmas period which of course reflects in thecertificate of incomes we receive.

Running a smooth retail operation is always down to planning andbeing prepared. All aspects of retail need planning from havingsufficient catalogues and carrier bags etc to ensuring your accountis fully paid up to allow you to process the higher retail. We alwaysschedule in all our drops from the launch of the Christmascatalogue until the end of the year to ensure maximum coverage ofour customers.

You can always attract new customers at anytime of the year, but ofcourse the Christmas Catalogue will always attract new purchasers. The way to retain those new customers is simple: provide the bestservice around and let them know that you will be providing themwith a regular opportunity to look at the whole range of catalogues.People like the personal service which can sometimes be lacking at

this time of the year on the High Street because of the hecticshopping season.

We like to make our customers feel valued all year round which inturn pays us dividends during the festive period. We always schedulein to drop a Christmas card to every customer with the last book before Christmas. With a 1000+ customers I think they reallyappreciate the hand written cards.

We have done party plan in the past and very successfully. Itsamazing what you can sell from the comfort of your own home byinviting customers, friends and family to pop in to view the range ofproducts we sell. We have also taken items to church fetes andwarden-patrolled residences. The key thing is, if you are doing partyplan at home or in someone elses home invite double the numberof people you can cope with. The worst that can happen is they allturn up!

Personally presenting the catalogue or a product for demonstrationalways works well too. After all the eye buys and if the customer

can see a product working, for instance the colour changingcandles on the front page of the Christmas catalogue, they are morelikely to buy.

We started picking up Christmasorders from the very first drop ofcatalogues after the launch. Itsnever too early. Likewise if you haveonly just joined its not too lateeither! People will be spending rightup until the last minute on the HighStreet, so why not fromour catalogues?

Andrew and I just love our life sincestarting Kleeneze. No more 9 to 5and being at the beck and call of aboss. No threat of redundancy or pay cuts. We now work with likeminded people who have become very dear friends over the yearsand to help them achieve their dreams is motivation enough. Itsalso very easy to stay motivated when you look at the alternative, return to the rat race? I dont think so!

    Fay and Andrew Roe

Weve already made our Christmas lists and top of that is the Helen E pack. Ah, a lovelybag full of goodies to make us look beautiful. Included, theres the Cream & ConcealerDuo Compact (pre-launch; will be available in the 2010 Spring Summer Catalogue), theSimply Blush Powder Compact (although this specific colour is not available Love Blushis available in Health & Beauty), Black Mascara (currently available in Health & Beauty),Black Eye Pencil with Smudger (currently available in Health & Beauty) and theRaspberry Sparkle lip gloss (although this specific colour is not available there are 4other shades currently available in Health & Beauty).

In fact, now we come to think of it, we cant wait until Christmas! We need to look ourbest for those parties. Order yours now on UK code 096482-11 / ROI code 096482-12 for

only 25/ 38 (worth 78.93!).Whats on top of your Christmas list? Let us know at [email protected].
