Twenty-two years ago the Grand Prairie Metro RotaryClub conducted the first Lake Joe Pool Pumpkin Run.
Since that first event, the club has distributed over$200,000 to local and regional charities from funds
raised by the Pumpkin Run.

service, encourages high ethical standards in allvocations, and helps build good will and peace in theworld. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to
more than 31,000 Rotary clubs in 167 countries.
Rotary International’s motto is “Service Above Self.” Atevery meeting the members repeat the Four Way Testwhich is a guide for conducting business and for usein personal relationships. The Four Way Test states:
Of the things we think, say or do: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build good will and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
