Drive® II 4WD is a full-time high- and part-time low-range 4x4 system with front and rear Electronic Limited-Slip Differentials (ELSD). The ELSD

SETTING THE STANDARDJeep

® Commander’s robust Electronic Stability Program (ESP)(1) includes Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM), an antilock brake system (ABS), Brake Assist

and the new Trailer Sway Control (TSC), all working together to help you and your trailer load safely reach your destination. When the network of ESP

sensors detect that you’re veering off your intended path, this comprehensive system automatically initiates braking action to stabilize the trailer and

help keep you moving safely forward. Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Hill Descent Control (HDC) are new available features that employ automatic braking

to help get you safely up and down the mountain.

Commander’s standard ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System(2) helps to make sure you back into and out of your parking space safely. Ultrasonic sound waves give

an audible and visual warning when driving in reverse at speeds below 10 mph. Advanced driver and front-passenger multistage air bags(3) and Side Occupant

Protection System with side-curtain air bags(3) help protect Commander’s outboard occupants.

Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect.
