Project / Programme Managment

Redbox offers full Project Management for all projects undertaken or as a service in its own right. With extensive experience in classical and contemporary techniques and methodologies (Prince II, APM, RAD …) Redbox can help increase project aware-ness and performance at all levels.

Redbox Project Managers have extensive experience managing Civils, Telecoms and IT projects and draw upon this experience to ensure the success of all on-going work, utilising standard or bespoke methods and techniques.

Working closely with Clients’ existing Quality Management Systems and advis-ing how best to integrate these with new projects can make a truly robust and accurate assessment of business perfor-mance. Redbox helps develop the tools and KPIs necessary to achieve this and through them increase performance, at every stage of the project life-cycle.

Database Design & Implementation

Redbox has developed and is currently implementing Firebox, a bespoke database designed to encompass all, programming, finance, logistics, documentation, QMS and performance monitoring systems into one functional and flexible system. As part of this development, Firebox live is an exciting new feature in development that

IT for Management Consultancy

Redbox are able to offer crucial advice in the SOMO arena concerning what IT systems and software would be best suited to a customers needs. This extends to not just assessing the hardware and network needs but right through to what application suites would be best suited to providing the best and most cost effective results.

By ensuring that the correct IT systems are in place many cost savings can be made in making business work more efficiently both from a cost point of view and a delivery point of view.

Design Solutions

Redbox can offer design solutions for planning and detail design and can provide details in paper format or full CAD plans in AutoCAD format for your end clients. By working closely with the client we are able to supply drawings to exact requirements including layer styles and pen tables.

With cabin upgrade and/or cabin/room shares we are able to extend our design solutions to include full electrical designs to match the operators exacting standards.

Photo Montages & illustration work

Through bespoke 3d modeling Redbox can offer a highly specialized photo montage service covering all operators’ equipment and specifications. We model all equip-ment in specialist 3d software which gives us the ability and flexibility to create montages from any angle, any chosen colour, any chosen layout and can colour key our work to match supplied photo’s. This service extends past just towers and operators equipment to offer a fully bespoke service for special sites such as stealth options that use GRP fascias.

We can also undertake bespoke illustration work where clients may experience difficulty in gaining build concent from planners or site providers.

From office Data Networking, design and installation (including the installation of voice comms), through Design and installa-tion of Wireless office technologies (DECT, WLAN, VoIP), Redbox can offer a com-plete and competitive solution. An ability to supply a service at any stage of a project in support of a customer rather than as a full turnkey package means that Redbox is able to support its customers at feasibility/bid phase or as a contractor installing a previous design.

Telecoms Infrastructure

The telecoms industry has seen rapid development through consumer demand for mobile phones over the past two decades; which has driven an enormous role out for all operator networks. Redbox although young has been built upon extensive experience and knowledge in both the design and construction phases of radio base station deployment; including new build (greenfield & streetworks sites), UMTS upgrades and site share projects.

We are able to offer services in a number of key areas from feasibility through to site handover and these include the areas highlighted.

Site Surveys

Redbox have a wealth of experience with site surveys for telecoms equipment within many different environments, including, greenfield sites, highways (street works equipment), site shares with multiple operators and cabin/room shares between operators. Through strategic partnerships a full package of services, from feasibility study through design, installation, commis-sion and testing can be provided. Design and Installation of RF systems for GSM, UMTS, 802.11, DECT etc can all be provided.

Redbox and its partners offer RF design engineers with extensive experience designing systems for deployment in small offices and shop locations, shopping centres, airports, tunnels and large offices utilizing, repeater systems, dedicated BTS and combined systems. Civil Engineering

Redbox is currently expanding its ability to provide services within the field of Civil Engineering works. This is a natural progression that compliments the Electri-cal, Installation, and management services also offered, in that it can offer the client a single contractor able to provide the full range of services required. Redbox is able to provide teams of ground workers to carry out small to medium scale engineer-ing works, in particular installation of concrete bases, plinths, roots and duct-work.

In-Building Installation

Redbox Installation Teams have over 20 years of experience installing in-building RF systems. All elements are installed in conjunction with the design scheme and to the clients’ specifications, where appli-cable. The systems that can be installed are diverse in nature and often require a variety of skills not commonly encountered in a single contractor. Redbox Installation Engineers are cross trained in installing all commonly required components and consumables (RF Co-Axial systems, fibre, cat5e, electrical works, components etc.) in order to provide efficiency of labour and minimise deployment timescales.

All systems installed comply with, not only legislation and industry standards, but to our exacting standards that mirror those of our customers.

Electrical Installation

Redbox is also able to offer NICEIC accredited and certified electrical installa-tions where required. These can take the

form of both AC and DC main supplies to the client distribution board (from existing metered supplies or switches) as well as any minor works required to provide small power to components

and equipment.
