Plans
Planning Assumptions
The remains of Andrea off the E coast of Florida may affect fire weather conditions. Fire-related sickness and injuries may cause a surge on hospital & pre-hospital systems Winds from the NE at 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts are expected. Wildfires in SE US are limiting available mutual aid resources for suppression activities
in Florida; Out-of-state wildland burners need to be Florida certified. No significant rainfall anticipated over the next 24 hours, except in the Panhandle.
Scattered Showers are expected throughout the state on Sunday. Dispersion rates in the peninsula should be moderate on Saturday and move to high on Sunday. The panhandle will stay at high all weekend.
Weather events and ground conditions may lead to unexpected changes in fire patterns and paths.
