What is the CSEC?

The CConnecticut SState EEmployees’ CCampaign is the once a year opportunity for state employees to contribute to non-profit charities at the workplace.

Who makes up the CSEC?

The Connecticut State Employees’ Campaign overseen by a group of state employees who are appointed to serve on the State Employees’ Campaign Committee.

Why should employees give?

Through the CSEC, you can make a single gift to help people locally, throughout the nation, and around the world.

What do contributions accomplish?

The contributions made by you and your fellow employees make possible a wide range of vital services:

Shelter for the homeless Protection of the environment Research for cures of diseases Care for children and seniors

How can I give?

The Campaign provides two methods for which a pledge can be made.

Payroll Deduction is the easiest, most effective way to contribute to your community. As little as $1 per pay period is the minimum contribution.

You may also make a one-time gift…

A one-time gift?

Your one-time donation in the form of cash or check can also make a difference.

Where can my gift go?

State employees are provided with a directory that lists almost 1000 charities that have gone through a rigorous screening process by the CSEC committee.

Where does my gift go?

You have the option of designating all or a portion of your contribution to one or more of the charities listed in the 2007 Directory.

You can designate to as many charities listed in the Directory as you wish.

Reach out to those in need;

Sustain local, national, & international health, educational, environmental, & social service organizations;

Make a meaningful contribution to our community.

The Campaign continues until Friday, November 30.

However, contributions are always accepted throughout the year.

I’m only one person. What can I do?

We, the approximately 70,000 State Employees, can show that we care beyond the work environment.

We can demonstrate our level of commitment.

For the price of a cup of coffee a week, be a part of a team that contributes to the greater good.
