PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals DANGER Corrosive - causes irreversible eye damage. Wear goggles or face shield when handling. Harmful if absorbed through skin. Harmful if swallowed. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists. Wash thorough- ly with soap and water after handling. Wear personal protection equipment when handling and/or applying. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Applicators and other handlers must wear appropriate protective eyewear, such as or face shield or goggles and face mask (with MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix such as N95, R-95, or P-95), long sleeved shirt and long pants, waterproof gloves and shoes plus socks. User Safety Requirements: Follow manufacturer’s in- structions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions exist for PPE, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. User Safety Recommendations: Users should: • Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using to- bacco, or using the toilet. • Remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash skin thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing. Environmental Hazards: • This pesticide is toxic to birds exposed to spray drift, direct treatment or residues on crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow to drift to crops or weeds if birds are actively visiting the treatment area. • This pesticide is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. • For terrestrial use only. Do not apply directly to water. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Endangered Species Protection Requirements: This product may have effects on endangered species. To obtain Bulletins, no more than six months before using this product, consult http://www.epa.gov/espp/ or call 1-800-447-3813. You must use the Bulletin valid for the month in which you will apply the product. It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Read the entire label before using. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any require- ments specific to your State or Tribe, consult the State or Tribal agency responsible for pesticide regulation. AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard., 40 CFR part 170. This Stan- dard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions and excep- tions pertaining to the statements on this label about person- al protective equipment (PPE) and restricted entry interval (REI). The requirements in this box only apply to uses of this product that are covered by the Worker Protection Standard. Do not enter or allow worker entry to treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 48 hours. PPE required for early entry to treated areas (that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standard and that involves contact with anything that has been treated, such as plants, soil, or water) is: • Coveralls • Waterproof gloves • Shoes plus socks NON-AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS The requirements in this box apply to uses of this product that are NOT Within the scope of the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides (40 CFR Part 170). The WPS applies when this product is used to produce agricultural plants on farms, forests, nurseries or greenhouses. Do not enter or al- low worker entry into treated areas during the restricted-entry interval (REI) of 48 hours. Keep unprotected persons out of the treated areas until spray has dried. Nature’s Wisdom 20% Vinegar is a quick-acting, non-selective contact herbicide containing an organic acid for which the resi- dues degrade promptly in the soil. Foliar contact results in rapid desiccation and control of annual weeds and grasses, and top growth reduction of herbaceous perennial weeds and grasses (see table below). For control of established perennial weeds, retreatment may be necessary. Nature’s Wisdom 20% Vinegar may be applied up to two days before harvest.
