Objectives

• 1. Participants will understand the process of delegation.

• 2. Participants will grasp the importance of your gifts during delegation.

• 3. Participants will be equipped with ways of inspring people through delegation.



Passage to memorizePsalm 86: 9-12

Place individuals in appropriate tasks according to

their giftsAccomplish as much as

possible though the gifts of others. 1 Chronicles 18: 14-17



Inspire your associates

Know the keys to their heart. What do they sing about, cry

about, dream about?




Know the gifts in their possession: What do they do

well that get results?




Know their opportunities in their path: What next step fits

their maturity?



Delegation: Jesus shared both responsibility and authority

Jesus sent out his disciples two by two. Luk 9: 1-10

• 1. Motivation. He called them together.

• 2. Impartation. He empowered them and gave them authority.




• 3. Delegation. He sent them out to do a job.




• 4. Communication. He gave them specific direction.




• 5. Evaluation. He held them accountable.



Share the workload with your team




• 1. Don’t do dumping by getting rid of a task. Major damage can be done to the people who receive the work.

• 2. Delegate the right work to the right people. Don’t just focus on eliminating the task and not building the people.




The best way of distributing tasks is by developing and training people so that they can take on the extra

responsibility.



Prayer Focus• Father, In the name of Jesus, I

surrender myself to walk in the Word. Your word living in me produces the Life in this world.

• The word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. It makes my way plain before me.

• I boldly and confidently say that my heart is fixed and established on the solid foundation – the Living Word of God! Amen
