WRITING:
Ø Students show good understanding of a variety of authentic reading material from the target cultures. Ø They show an ability to summarize and comment a paragraph of independent reading. Ø They can consult certain reference sources as appropriate. They cope readily with unfamiliar topics.
Ø Students speak rather fluently and freely with good pronunciation and intonation. Ø They use a wide range of language in discussing about factual and non-factual material, developing an argument and giving reasons. Ø Their language is largely accurate with few mistakes of any significance.
Ø Students show good understanding of spoken accounts of contemporary culture and society of the target language concerning factual and imaginative speech. Ø They summarize and report on a range of concrete and abstract subjects. Ø They are able to recognize particulars of a spoken exchange when listening.Ø They draw inferences, recognize attitudes, emotions etc. Ø They need little repetition.
Ø They express or justify ideas, opinions or personal points of view. Ø They develop the contact of what they have seen, read or heard. Ø They write multiple paragraphs essays in which spelling and grammar are generally accurate and the style is appropriate to the content. Ø They write independently on a range of factual and imaginative topics.

Ø To develop the analytic and synthetic language skills in students making them able to skim and scan broader information connected with other subjects taught at school.Ø To enable students managing life situations easily by using the language correctlyØ To create in students the ability to compare and contrast different culturesØ To encourage students use their critical reading and thinking skills
Ø The students are able to analyze and think critically in different situations by using a complex language skillfully. Ø Students are also able to support their opinions by giving reasonable arguments. Ø The language standard is higher and students manage unknown situations.
Ø The cultural awareness of students is higher and students are able to write and speak about famous people, values, compare, judge different events and happenings.
Ø Students become more accurate in using the language, they become more fluent in the process of speaking.
