• The AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM (ASP) operates from the end of the school day to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  The After School Program is an extension of the instructional day for the students of Kemp.  It will function under the guidelines as established by the Cobb County Board of Education.  After School Program is a PREPAID PROGRAM. (This means there needs to be money in your child’s account before they can stay that day).

• Every child must have a registration form complete and signed to stay in ASP each year.• $10 registration fee each year-• $7 daily• Snacks are served each day- please send a snack with your child if they have a restricted

diet• IMPORTANT REMINDERS:• ASP money envelopes need to go in a black box when your child arrives in the morning.• There is a late charge of $1.00 per minute after 6:00 according to the school clock. • (Only 3 late notices, then the student will be removed from the program. We do have

transportation to local daycares that stay open later.)• All grades 1st through 5th will be given homework time. • Behavior: General rules are set by Cobb County.  The rules for the school day also apply

during after school hours. Rules are established to ensure the safety of all children. • Please be sure to send a note to your child’s classroom teacher indicating the days your

child will attend the After-School Program. Your child’s teacher should be informed in writing any time there is a change to your child’s schedule.

•  • If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Cobb at [email protected]
