Campus InfrastructureThe campus is lush green spread over 25 acres at Selaqui, It has 2.5 lacs sq. ft. of built-up area with academic blocks, workshops, laboratories, faculty rooms, auditorium, seminar halls, computer labs with latest computing facilities, well equipped library, canteen, sports and recreation facilities. Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree from any discipline with 50% and above marks (English medium). Final year degree students awaiting results are also eligible.

Award of Degree

Students who successfully complete the MBA Program will be awarded the Master of Business Administration degree by The ICFAI University, Dehradun, subject to University regulations.

Program Structure

The program comprises of 29 courses (of which 21 are compulsory courses and 8 are elective courses), and a summer internship program. These courses are spread over four semesters.

IT Lab: Assignments related to computers will require the students to spend significant time in the lab. All students will have access to well-equipped computer lab, for their practical work.

Soft Skills Lab: Special emphasis is given to impart soft skills to meet the corporate requirements. The exclusive design and the right mix of training processes help the students to add a new dimension to their personality.

Summer Internship: The Summer Internship enables the students to experience the rigor of business environment and combine the concepts learnt in classroom with the real-life situations in organizations. The Summer Internship is undertaken after the second semester of the program and is faculty supervised. Industry Interaction: IBS consciously encourages industry interaction with a wide cross section of professionals in the industry. Summer Projects, industry interaction programs, guest lectures, seminars etc., organized in association with the industry offer students an opportunity to exhibit their organizational and communication skills, analytical abilities and awareness of contemporary issues to leading recruiters.

Projects: Students are encouraged to pursue live projects in each of the courses to enhance their learning by applying theoretical concepts to industry situations. This is done under the guidance of experienced faculty for proper focus and implementation.

Evaluation: Student performance in each course is assessed by means of continuous evaluation (based on assignments, presentations, seminars, case discussions, projects and class tests) and Mid Term and Final Term examinations.

I-LEAD Assistantships

(IBS Learn, Earn And Develop) Assistantships

IBS offers Digital Marketing Assistantships to students who are in need of financial support to meet part of their expenditure during the program for a period of 6 months. ` 6,000/- per month will be offered as stipend.

One of the ethos of ICFAI Business School (IBS) is to recognize and encourage the meritorious students. IBS offers Domicile Scholarships, Past Academic Record Scholarships, Merit Scholarships, and Student Assistantships. The details are given below:

Domicile Scholarships

IBS Dehradun offers Domicile Scholarships to students belonging to Uttarakhand, ` 50,000/- will be given as concession in the program fee.

Past Academic Record Scholarships IBS Dehradun offers Merit Scholarships based on past academic record in Graduation to encourage quality students to take admission in IBS Dehradun. Dr. Vinay is the Dean, ICFAI Business School & Vice Chancellor at the ICFAI University Dehradun. He has around three decades of rich experience in the field of Education, Training, Planning, Management and Consultancy. He is acknowledged not only for establishing institutions but also leading them to excellence in Academics and Research with his path breaking initiatives. He has held several positions of eminence in professional bodies in the field of education both globally and in India. These include Chairman IQAC (Internal Quality Assessment Cell), Proctor, University of California, Berkeley Extension. He has spearheaded and pioneered various programmes in the field of higher education especially in postgraduate studies in collaboration with reputed schools in India, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Singapore and Malaysia. He is the present expert peer committee member, National Board of Accreditation, Govt. of India, New Delhi. He has also been the expert member for various professional organizations that include Higher Education UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI), World Bank and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. He has participated and presented papers in National and International Conferences. He has reviewed books on ERP published by McGraw-Hill. He was conferred with the title of Ambassador ‘Swachh Harit Bharat’ on United Nations Day 2018 by the Social Research Centre an associate of IFUNA. He was conferred with the ‘Indo Global Education Excellence Award’ by the International Benevolent Research Foundation (Kolkata) and the ‘National Educational Excellence Award 2017’ at the World Education Convention at New Delhi in 2017. Dr. Sharma is a management faculty at IBS Dehradun with extensive experience of more than 19 Years (8 Years Industry + 11.5 Years Academics). After starting his career as a free-lance Legal Consultant of IPR & Income Tax, he soon realized his potential for industry and management and repositioned himself in industry where he worked as GM (Overseas Marketing) for 8 years and enriched himself with industry requirements / knowledge that he can share with management students at his present faculty position. He authored a good number of research work publications and also actively presented research papers and articles in several national/international conferences and seminars of repute. Beside this He also participated in various FDP, Research Methodology Workshops and Orientation Programs etc

Dr. Mohd ImranMBa, Ph.D. (Economics)

Dr. Deepti Kiran has done her doctorate in Management from Kumaun University, Nainital. She is an MBA with specialisation in Finance and Marketing and has served 8 years in academics as an Assistant Professor. She has several research publications under her name and has attended various national and international seminars and conferences. She also attended workshops on Research process and Data Analysis using SPSS and MS Excel. She has also organised various national seminars and conferences.

Dr. Deepti KiranMBa, Ph.D (Management)

Dr. Puneet Kumar Gupta is currently working as an Assistant Professor in ICFAI Business School, Dehradun and Previously worked as an Assistant Statistical Officer with U.P. State Planning Department. He completed his post graduation and M. Phil. Degree from Ch. Charan Singh University (Meerut University) in Statistics. He has completed his D. Phil. degree in Statistics from University of Allahabad, Prayagraj. He has also qualified UGC-NET in Population Studies. His research area includes, applied statistics, quantitative research, load-sharing system model, competing risk analysis, censoring, etc. He has published more than 15 research papers in refereed international and national journals which have been widely acclaimed. He is member of various international organizations like SSHRA, IOSRD etc.
