Ecosystem Complexity
Ecosystems are much more complex than you would think.
What is a food web?
Invasive Species Discussion
Remember: You need to be an expert on YOUR invasive species in order to share out to other people.
What are some commonalities that we are finding between invasive species?
Can we draw any inferences between what happens when a NEW species is introduced to an ecosystem vs. a reintroduction?
Test Discussion
How many people are studying after the last unit’s test?
Test Review:
If you earned a 1 or 2 during your last exam, you are remediation today with a review sheet. No Kahoots, not socratives…you need to put in the time for repetition that you might not have during class.
Don’t rush. You do not finish reviewing until I have talked with you and are convinced that you are ready to retake the test.
Anything you need help with, track down your resident rocket scientist. If both of you are stumped, come find me.
3’s and 4’sIf you earned a 3 or a 4, there are 3 options:
1.) Food web activity (we will do this later for homework, so you might be able to get it done now)
2.) Ecosystems padlet activity: Open the padlet on your computer and add resources that are mentioned on the padlet.
3.) Resident Rocket Scientist – People at the review tables (1,3 and 5) will need assistance. You may assist people in their review, but you are NOT to do their work for them.
