MENSIA TECHNOLOGIES is a Connected Health start-updeveloping ground-breaking non-invasive medicalsolutions leveraging the power of neuromodulation forthe care of the Central Nervous System (CNS). Non-invasive neuromodulation is a family of technologies,including neurofeedback, low-power electricity (TDCS), ormagnetic fields (rTMS). They induce a lastingnormalization of brain activity and have beendemonstrated to be an effective treatment for major CNSconditions. Our first product is an innovative, mobile, andpersonalized neurofeedback training (NFT) system for thetreatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD). This medical device, ADHD@Home will provide analternative to symptomatic psychoactive medication likemethylphenidate (MPH). ADHD is a major Public Healthissue affecting 5% of children and a fast growingtherapeutics market estimated to reach $10B by 2020.

In June of 2015, we were awarded a multi-million euro grantby the European Union, under the highly competitiveH2020/SME Instrument program, to finalize our ADHDproduct and finance the required randomized clinical trial.This RCT is scheduled to start in Q2 of 2016 with theassistance of 10 centers in Europe (FR, NL, DE, SP …).
