CommScope’s Redwood solution is a high-density network of sensors that track motion,temperature and light coupled with low-voltage dc LED lights.

This combines the long-term cost savings of LED lighting with an intelligent, open APIsoftware-based platform that enables you to:

Increase energy efciency and reduce costs. The solution decreases your Power Usage Efciency (PUE) ratio with automated controls,

scheduling policies, daylight harvesting, smooth dimming andpreset timeouts. These capabilities reduce non-computing electricaloverhead and cut your maintenance and replacement expenses.It can even help you pursue LEED certication.

Optimize space. Sensors detect motion, which can be used to discernroom occupancy and monitor heavy trafc routes. Based on usagedata, the platform can help you develop optimal oor plans andmanage conference rooms dynamically. And because the platformuses low-voltage cabling* over existing data raceways, you candeploy for less and make fast changes as needed in software.

Integrate systems and remove network guesswork. The solutionintegrates with other building systems through an open API makingit agile, customizable and secure.
