Why did we want Efficient Systems Access?

ESA is a solution to give clinicans fast and easy

acces to their IT-systems.

ESA is a combination of two funktions:

Single SignOn, remember userid, password etc.

Including automatic log-in to specified systems.

Keep it simple strategy is getting pushed:

The amount of systems in ESA

VDI is VERY dependent of the infrastructure

Network connections

SAN

Several projects in one is more complex than ”just”

one

The change from Pilot to Production was difficult

ESA has A LOT of interfaces to other projects and

operations in RegionH

Users doesn’t ”just” start using VDI – even it’s fast

and simple to use
