PASTOR’S POTPOURI -MUCH WILL BE REQUIRED OF THE PERSON ENTRUSTED WIITH MORE

One of the best definitions we have of “faith” is found in the Let-ter to the Hebrews which we hear today: faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen. We see this faith in Abraham who believed that God was faithful and even though Sarah was beyond the age of getting pregnant, Isaac was born. Faith says that we can look forward to the com-ing of the Lord just like those servants who await their master’s return from a wedding. We are blessed because of our vigilance. As we ponder our faith today, let’s remember how much we have been entrusted with and how much is expected of us. Praise the Lord!
