Actively moving the region forward, we’re reinventing how people access, experience and perceive affordable housing. Village on Horsetooth Housing Catalyst’s newest development opened in October 2018, bringing affordable apartments to central Fort Collins. This community features a large greenspace at its center, community gardens, playground, dog park, covered bike parking and walking paths that connect to a city trail system. Village on Shields When Housing Catalyst purchased this community, it was in dire need of repairs and upgrades. In 2018, all apartment interiors and exteriors were renovated, and residents now have central air conditioning, beautified outdoor green spaces, new playgrounds and a dog park.     • Development of Mason Place permanent supportive housing approved by city; development partners selected

    Strengthening Our Community• Redtail Connect event linked Redtail Ponds residents with 14 community resources onsite

    • Redtail Ponds successfully transitioned 8 people to other permanent housing

    • JumpStart enrolled 39 new families and graduated 16 families, each with an average of $6,167 in an accrued escrow savings account

    • Resident services expanded its program staff to equip and empower residents for success

    • Housing Catalyst and community partners explored strategies to support resident children’s success in school
