86 Shooters from 5 countries particpated in the 1997ArizonaCup International Archery Championships which was held atthe Precision Shooting Equipment (PSE) Shooting Range inTucson, Arizona. As is the tradition for the Arizona Cup, thewind was rather strong and gusty making shooting very difficult.The w.omenchampions, Janet Dykman and Michelle Ragsdale,are repeat winners of the prestigious Arizona Cup. Newcomer to.FHA tournaments, Marty Henrikson, shot strong against toughcompetition to win his first Arizona Cup Championship. JacksonFear, Junior World Champion, continued his reign in the FITAranks by defeating Olympic Medalists and World Champions.

The FITA portion was used to earn points for the USAT.TheChampions of the' Arizona Cup were determined by theElimination Round.Rankings in the FITAQualifyinground were:
