Lori Mitchell 1195 86 Shooters from 5 countries particpated in the 1997 Arizona Cup International Archery Championships which was held at the Precision Shooting Equipment (PSE) Shooting Range in Tucson, Arizona. As is the tradition for the Arizona Cup, the wind was rather strong and gusty making shooting very difficult. The w.omen champions, Janet Dykman and Michelle Ragsdale, are repeat winners of the prestigious Arizona Cup. Newcomer to .FHA tournaments, Marty Henrikson, shot strong against tough competition to win his first Arizona Cup Championship. Jackson Fear, Junior World Champion, continued his reign in the FITA ranks by defeating Olympic Medalists and World Champions. The FITA portion was used to earn points for the USAT.The Champions of the' Arizona Cup were determined by the Elimination Round. Rankings in the FITA Qualifying round were: II 11.
