They are Gay Alton, Audrey Bensle, Leslie Kleinfeld, Kathleen Pavlos,, Ellen Todd, Leona VanLoan, Michael Bohan, Allen Cohen, Randy Day, Ricky Faulkner, Rodney Greene, Eli KeUy, Lynn Kelly, Lynn Kratoch- vil, Warren Reynolds, Richard Rottkov, Dane Scudder and Cal- vin Wright. ' An outdoor barbecue supper to celebrate the occasion was held at the home of fus par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wright, on Saturday afternoon. Sixteen guests were present. A party atmosphere prevailed with paper lanterns, balloons and crepe paper streamers decorating the lawn. The table was appropriate- ly decorated with a centerpiece of gladioli and flanked on each side with two beautifully decorated birthday cakes made by Mrs. James Barton. Calvin received many gifts. Mrs. Trudy Deutsch has dosed her beauty shop on lower Main street and returned to her home in New York city. Calvin Wright of Clovesville celebrated his fifth birthday on Sept. 5. ' An outdoor barbecue supper to celebrate the occasion was held at the home of fus par­ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wright, on Saturday afternoon. Sixteen guests were present. A party atmosphere prevailed with paper lanterns, balloons and crepe paper streamers decorating the lawn. The table was appropriate­ly decorated with a centerpiece of gladioli and flanked on each side with two beautifully decorated birthday cakes made by Mrs. James Barton. Calvin received many gifts.

Mrs. Eleanor H. Smith 0;f Delhi has been appointed as executive secretary for Delhi chapter, American Red Cross.

’The Red Cross offire in Delhi is open afternoons, Monday through Friday, from 1 o’dock until 4:30. At other hotu-s and on weekends Mrs. Smith may be reached at her home (telephone 241).

An important part of th^ execu­tive secretary’s work has to do with what is called hcmie service: providiill' a mediiun of communi­cation between men in the Armed Forces and their families at home.

Mrs. Smith will be available as a speaker for women’s dubs, serv­ice dubs and other groups throughout the chapter area.
