following is extracted from en official report ~~itten by Mr. and contains observations of an unidentified flying object in the

. . vicinity of Cajarraarea. The observations, were made by qu41.!1.Bd weather C]bserver in the Weather Observatory of the Compaftia Pe~A de Ser~ os Meteorologicos,

S.A. on the continental divide about JS miles S or Caj .at an altitude or 37~0 meters and has the geographical coordinate8 or . o?.-25 1 ec 5;7820'30 sec vlo The report was dated 8 November 1957 and the follows:

1 1~ ~~utes and could be observed easily without binoculars. On \ .,. tretobex- 28th, 51, I saw the same thing at 1239 Lima time, which means 1839 c..m, working on the Pilot-Balloon-Ob~erva.tion~tand at Kanzel-Obs~rvatory, and noted its po~ition measured by the automatic "Zeies-Reoording-Theodolite" as follows: ..

1-:oon position :measured at the earr.e time:

    Azimuth ar~1e: 106,3 and Elevation angle: 30,2

On 29/l0/57 at 1251 L1J!ia time (lJ~l'~i,. I saw the same object at pos~tion 119 Azimuth anele n~ 65,6 Etevatton a~~le, direction not er.actly identifiable. On the sl.m!e'-d~:f'\,.t 1339 Lil~-en:w: (1839 GNT) I saw it ag~~ at po~itio~ 118,5 Az~uth angle an~71 ~evation angle, moving slowly to approxir.tataly 300 -310 o On al~~m!se days the visibility ha3 been bad. Again I saw the same ob eet yesterday, 7/11/57, aft~r a t~lephone call from Hrs bout the ~ame gleaming object visible from Hda. and advising rne the approx. position.
