Post Disaster Need Assessment (PDNA) FS Sector• A significant number of crops (rice,
beans, maize, cassava) were lost• The majority of fishing boats and
fishing equipment were lost or partially damaged
• The projected food security outcomes are expected to be the same or worse than previously anticipated in affected areas
• Early stage recovery and reconstruction needs are yet to be fully identified. Provincial Governments are facing immediate needs beyond the emergency phase.
