The association organ-ised a cancer screeningtest at Sector 20 commu-nity centre. Members ofthe association gave tipson cancer prevention tothe people gathered there.Speaking on the occasionDr Pawan Gupta says, "Ifidentified in the initialstages, cancer is curable.It is necessary to educatepeople on the symptomsof cancer."

Midtown, in associationwith UNESCO and WWF,announced an awarenessprogramme on 'WaterCr i s i s ' i n Ind ia onNovember 12.
G S Singhvi, president,Rotary Club, said, “We aremaking an effort to createawareness in young schoolchildren as I firmly believethat today's kids aremature, logical and intel-
ligent hence kids havebeen pitched in.”
A rally titled 'Walk ForWater' will be taken outfrom Rajpath/Rafi Margcrossing near India Gate onNovember 15. CM SheilaDikshit will flag off the rallyand Kalyan Banerjee willbe the guest of honour.Other special guests includeUNESCO chief for southAsia Parasuramen and GSPillai, Home Secretary,Government of India.
About 5000 school chil-
dren will participate in therally. The rally will be ledby a group of differently-abled children. A school
rock band will also per-form their own composi-tion dedicated to the causeof conserving water.
