HOW DOES THE SILENT AUCTION WORK? Each silent auction item will have a bid sheet with it on the Silent Auction Tables. To bid, simply write your bid amount (in dollar increments) on the item’s corresponding sheet with your name, email address and home phone. Please print clearly. Keep a tally on how high the bids go, and increase your bid by re-visiting the silent auction tables and reviewing the bid sheet(s).

If you bid, PLEASE plan to follow through with your payment and pick up of the item by the end of the day.

Before the close of each lot, an announcement will be made as a reminder to go back and make a last bid and check items you’re interested in. After the lots close, check with the silent auction staff to find out if you’ve won, then please pay for your items.

If you are not present at Paws in the Park at the end of the Silent Auction, we will contact you. Memorialize and honor your pets and loved ones with a legacy brick that will be showcased on the Save A Dog walkways. Pathways For Paws will not only honor your pet or loved one, but will help Save A Dog with our expansion plans for a training room and a walk-through kennel.

Our mission is to dedicate our beautiful outdoor walkways to both two and four legged friends, pet lovers and family members – to ALL of our friends, family, supporters, and donors – and to pets both past and present. Each brick will help support the many dogs we rescue, care for, and rehome to loving adoptive families, and to help us continue our mission.

Your personalized brick will be engraved according to your specifications and become a part of a memorial walkway.

Pathways For Paws is the perfect way to leave your permanent mark of care and compassion. For more information visit our booth next to the Information Booth or our website at www.saveadog.org.

PAWS IN THE PARKDOG WALK

Save A Dog is a 501c3 tax exempt Humane Society whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find adoptable homes for abandoned dogs. We are a holistically-minded organization that believes in providing the highest quality care to our rescued dogs. We give the dogs vitamins, herbal supplements, and probiotics from day one as our shelter protocol. Each night the new arrivals are serenaded to animal healing music while enjoying a fresh chewie on their kuranda beds. We have a very strong foster home program so that the dogs are transitioned into the home environment as soon as possible. We educate our adopters on holistic care for their new dog and our Retail room carries pet food and all the holistic supplements at a very low cost to our adopters and supporters. Please come visit us during our open hours. Save A Dog was incorporated in 1999 and is funded entirely by private donations.

Please keep the historical grounds of the Wayside Inn litter free. For your convenience, doggy clean-up bags are inside your goodie bag, as well as available at all our Booths.

During the Revolutionary war when British General Howe’s dog accidentally crossed American lines, General George Washington wrote a letter to his British counterpart and returned the dog to him.

No wonder we elected him the first President! In the midst of the Revolution he took the time to save a dog!

Save A Dog is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Additional pledges and tax deductible donations should be mailed to:

SALLY, FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

IN LOVING MEMORY

Sally came to us early in 2018 from a hoarder situation along with her four puppies. She was the best mom and she let even the youngest volunteers handle her pups. After the pups were adopted she went into foster care and when the time was right we had her spayed. A week after her spay surgery she developed a serious illness and despite our best efforts we were not able to save her. We want to take this day to commemorate this lovely dog whose destiny was heaven and to thank her many care takers whose labors of love will never be forgotten.
