Course Objectives:
• To introduce students to the engineering and scientific principles of hydrology andhydraulics and methods used to manage water resources, flood risk and to protectaquatic resources.
• To be able to qualitatively and quantitatively describe the irrigation techniques andstructures used in India and other countries.
• To be able to provide solutions for typical water resources problems found in practice.
