CIV321:HYDRAULIC AND IRRIGATION STRUCTURES I L:3 T:0 P:0 Course Objectives: To introduce students to the engineering and scientific principles of hydrology and hydraulics and methods used to manage water resources, flood risk and to protect aquatic resources. To be able to qualitatively and quantitatively describe the irrigation techniques and structures used in India and other countries.  To be able to provide solutions for typical water resources problems found in practice.
