Page 1 of 2 FLEETWIDE RE-CATEGORIZATION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. Why has Royal Caribbean made the decision to re-categorize the fleet? With the continuous evolution and innovative advances introduced across our newest hardware, it was apparent that a refresh of our fleetwide categorization was necessary. Beginning with the new 2018/2019 deployment, category allocations will become more concise, easier to interpret, and, most importantly, consistent across the fleet. 2. What are the key benefits of the re-categorization? The changes to Royal Caribbean’s categorization structure will simplify the logic, making our ship categories easier to understand and more marketable to you and your clients. 3. What major changes are being introduced? The new categorization structure will introduce: • New Category Codes • Intuitive Category Names • Stateroom category shifts based on attributes, size, location, and occupancy 4. Will these updates impact all ships fleet-wide? Is a specific class of ships affected more than another? With the exception of Quantum of the Seas ® , all ships and ship classes are affected equally. 5. Was Suite inventory also taken into consideration during this process? Yes, the evaluation of Suite inventory was included in this process, introducing more intuitive category names to better describe the unique selling attributes within this category class. 6. Were the categories within the Royal Suite Class program impacted by the re-categorization efforts? 7. Which sailings will reflect the new categorization model?Changes will go into effect beginning with the new 2018/2019 deployment. The effective dates vary by ship and are confirmed as follows:

8. Were staterooms with obstructed views categorized differently or noted in a special way? Staterooms with an obstructed view are not grouped into a specific category; however, to assist in identifying, a square symbol remains in the deck plans to signify such.

9. Have the websites and printed materials been updated to reflect accordingly? If not, when will this occur? Adjustments will be introduced to Espresso and RoyalCaribbean.com as the roll-out of new deployment occurs.Re-categorization reference guides will be posted on LoyalToYouAlways.com as of March 1, 2018 on the Deployment microsite. All printed materials, inclusive of the Travel Agent Guide, will be refreshed during the next scheduled reprint.remains in the deck plans to signify such.

10. When will these changes go into effect across the internal/external booking tools?Updates to the internal and external bookings tools will occur alongside the new deployment opening schedule.

11. Why was the decision made to remove the term “family” from the higher occupancy staterooms?High occupancy staterooms are not only appealing to family travelers, but also other groups of individuals that may be misled by the “family” label. As not to polarize or mislead, the term “family” has been removed from such categories and has been replaced with descriptors such as “spacious” and “ultra spacious”.

12. How/when will travel partners be trained on the new categorization? What materials will be developed to assist in learning this new information?Travel partners will have several opportunities to join a live webcast on March 1, 2017. To register, visit LoyalToYouAlways.com to select the time that best fits your schedule. A recorded version of the webcast will also be available on CruisingPower.com within 24-hours. As it relates to reference materials, a detailed categorization grid by ship will be posted on LoyalToYouAlways.com/Deployment and will also be shared in the weekly eNewsletter in late-February and early-March.

13. Have enhancements or physical attribute changes occurred to any staterooms during this process?Throughout this process, no physical changes have occurred to any staterooms.
