Church Family Jesus teaches to rejoice and mourn with each other. We celebrate today with the Forster family and the healthy birth of Adara Rosiland to Tyler and Tracy, making Donna and Scott first-time grandparents! We also remember to mourn with those who find the holidays a lonely time. Let’s remember these people during our Christmas preparation and celebration. Thank you for all the visits in the recent months while Bertha T has been at Piyami. She will be moving to Extended Care Fairmont in Lethbridge (near the South side Canadian Tire) on Januray 2. She’ll be in room number 1328 and welcomes your company.

Our worship today The third Sunday of Advent we focus on God’s covenant of love. Everything we celebrate at Christmas begins with God’s love for his people and for all humankind. He made covenants with specific people which benefitted people of all nations. Because of his love we too are included in his covenant and we too are capable of producing the fruit of love. Our worship next week We focus on the joy of God’s deliverance. God’s Old Testament people rejoiced each time that God rescued them from their enemies. We too have enemies that would keep us from seeing God. God sent his Son so that these enemies would not succeed and so that we would be rescued from their hands. Let us rejoice at our salvation. We also celebrate our rescue with the Lord’s Supper. Our Worship Christmas Day We glorify and praise God for the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son. This Son chose to be one of us so that he could deliver us from our choices. Today he is glorified along with the Father because of the hope, peace, love and joy he has brought us.
