A PRAYER FOR SAFE TRAVEL O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole
creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go:
preserve those who travel; sur round them with your
loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring
them in safety to their journey's end; through Jesus
Christ our Lord. Amen.”
Cortland Council of Churches Annual Golf Tournament
Wednesday, July 24 at Willowbrook Golf Course This year we will honor Cortland Loaves and Fishes President, Sean Mack, Director, Kim Hill and Financial Officer, Mike Shafer). Last year sixteen teams participated in the tournament and nearly 100 people attended the chicken barbeque. More importantly, all member churches know that this is the biggest fundraiser for the Council every year. Through this event our sponsors reach thousands of area residents through mailings, church bulletins, ads and on course recognition. We hope you will prayerfully consider supporting this program. For more information: email [email protected]
A PRAYER FOR THE MILITARY
Pray For Our Military let us continually remember in
our prayers our local sons and daughters who are serving
our nation in the military. May they and their families
know strength and peace. Lord, please hold our troops in
your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless
them and their families for the selfless acts they perform
for us in time of need. We ask this in your name. Amen. Happy Moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. Every moment, thank God.
