His work can be seen in several architectural publications and books, including the upcoming Remarks on 21 Works (Monacelli). For this issue, he takes a look inside a beautiful Montauk home built by Murdock Young Architects (“A Vision in White,” pg. 52). “What at first seemed traditional proved to be sublimely modern,” he says. “It was truly a reward to photograph.” Pamela Morgan Entertaining expert and chef Pamela Morgan runs a New York catering company, is the author of the cookbook Pamela Morgan’s Flavors (Viking) and contributes to Food & Wine. In “Gone Fishin’” (pg. 72), she dines at chef Kerry Heffernan’s Sag Harbor abode. “Kerry is an extraordinary cook and a superb fisherman,” she says. “He is one of those rare people who can do it all!” Anne Calder A Westhampton resident and Wesleyan University senior, Anne Calder has worked as a writer for Dan’s Papers and Wesleyan magazine, as well as at HC&G as a summer editorial intern. In “People and Their Boats” (pg. 46), she asks East End boating enthusiasts what floats their, well, boats. “When they’re out on the water,” she says, “even the busiest people seem to be able to escape their stresses.” Mindy Pantiel Writer Mindy Pantiel has published her work in Traditional Home and Metropolitan Home.
