Arrival Experience Attendant
Front Gate Operations and also assisting our guests throughout the park. Often
times you will be the first point of contact with a guest arriving at the
park. Whether it’s their first visit or 1000th, you have the opportunity to make a
lasting memory for their family. You will assist our guests with maximizing their day
and also support data collection by walking throughout Hersheypark. This
position is great for anyone who enjoys interacting with a diverse group of
people and is upbeat and outgoing.
This is a high guest contact position which includes welcoming guests to the
park, directing and managing a high guest flow.

This part-time seasonal position is responsible for providing our guests with
exceptional customer service, following proper uniform standards, maintaining
the cleanliness of your work environment, and completing specific job duties.
Arrival Experience Attendants may be required to do one or all of the following
tasks depending on the assigned job:
Welcome guests to the Park
High guest contact position, directing and managing a high guest flow
Responsible for guest admissions, exits, and re-entries at Hersheypark main
gates
Collect survey data from guests with various technological pieces
Wish guests a safe trip home when leaving
Providing guests with handstamps for re-entry
Communicate and work with other departments effectively to ensure the
best possible experience for our guests
Pick up trash/clean Park benches
Assist with various Park programs
Learn operational standards for the Guest Experience Department
Basic Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older on the date of applying or turning 16 by

Entertainment Costume Character
Do you love candy? Do you love making people laugh? The Entertainment
department is looking for fun-loving characters to transform into life-size candy
bars! Our costume characters are truly stars at Hersheypark as they pose for
photos, sign autographs, and dance the night away!
Job Functions:
Improvisational performances interacting with our guests through meet
and greets and dance parties
Maintain care and limited repair to costume
Provide a consistent "character" experience to all guests
Maintain the costume area and keeping a safe and clean work
environment

Foods Warehouse Laborer
This position is responsible for the daily operation of the HERSHEYPARK Food &
Beverage Warehouse. Warehouse clerks are responsible for receiving and
distributing Food & Beverage goods throughout the Entertainment Complex. The
primary working time frame for the position revolves around the HERSHEYPARK
season to include spring, summer and fall seasonal operations. The
Entertainment Complex consists of HERSHEYPARK, Zoo America, HERSHEYPARK
Stadium, HERSHEYPARK Arena, GIANT Center™ and Hershey Theatre.
Job Functions:
Answering the warehouse phones and two way radio pages and
accurately taking stock orders
Monitoring stock levels of the warehouse and communicating any
shortages in orders and inventory to the management team
Processing, receiving, rotating, and correctly storing food and food
product items within the main Food & Beverage warehouse location
(which includes dry storage, frozen and refrigerated areas)
Delivering orders of food and food products from the warehouse to
individual concession, catering areas, other Entertainment Complex
facilities (by pick-up truck/service vehicle, by hand cart, and or by hand)
Maintaining proper organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and
warehouse equipment, including service vehicles
Working in a team environment and completing tasks and goals in a
quick and responsive manner
Performing warehouse opening and closing duties and other job related
tasks as assigned

Lifeguard
Shallow Water Lifeguards ensure the safety of our guests at The Boardwalk At
HERSHEYPARK while providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance.
Applicants do not need to be previously certified lifeguards to apply; training for
the position will be conducted by the Hershey Entertainment Complex through
the International Lifeguard Training Program (Ellis & Associates). Shallow Water
Lifeguards have the opportunity to be promoted to a Special Facilities
Lifeguard, who will then be trained to guard greater depths of water (greater
than five feet) and receive a higher pay rate, in their second year. This part time
position is responsible for providing our guests with exceptional customer service,
following proper uniform standards, maintaining cleanliness of work
environment, and gaining knowledge of specific job duties.
Job Functions:
Shallow Water Lifeguards are required to do one or all of the following tasks
depending on the assigned job:
Overseeing and enforcing The Boardwalk At HERSHEYPARK attraction rules
and safety regulations.
Anticipating, recognizing, and responding to aquatic emergencies.
Monitoring equipment and supplies.
Maintaining work area and surrounding environment.
Lifeguards must maintain lifeguard and first aid skills at “test ready” level at
all times.
Participate in daily lifeguard in-service training.

Ride Operators are responsible for the safe and hospitable operation of all of
the attractions at HERSHEYPARK. This position is responsible for learning,
