Mobilizing! It’s what MissionGuides has been doing for sixteen years! Thank you for making this incredible fact possible and bringing us to another year of excitement, opportunity and inuence! As the past year rolls on with memories of good news and good works, another is getting set for more Exposing, Equipping and Engaging ordinary people for the extraordinary work of the Kingdom!

Through the help of our much appreciated supporters, MissionGuides was able to give a boost to several ministries last year support-ing camp ministry, campus work, churches, away teams and development ministries who make an impact in the north woods, South America, the Midwest, the Far East and many points in between!

Now YOU deserve a boost too. You are one of the most valuable elements to the success of our work. Your encouragement, support-raising and participation in our eld projects, classrooms, Bible studies, project sites (and the golf course!) is vital fuel that keeps usgoing and what mobilization is all about.

Please, join us at our outing again! Use this booklet as an annual report to celebratewhat you have done and a support-raising challenge for the year ahead. By doing so,you will keep wind in our sails and keep the momentum going on all that is happening.

Thank you very, very much for faithfully doing your important part of God’s global work and making it possible for us to do ours!

2017/18 - EXPOSING, EQUIPPING & ENGAGING

INDIA PROJECT Ultimately, “missions” is about bringing the inuence of the Gospel to where it isn’t yet. We’re happy to be with Spring Lake Church, exploring opportuniies in north India. This puts in place a nal step that can take people from never-been-on-a-trip to deploying to the very edges of the world. Engaging!

GUYANA TEAMWe took a welcome step in the spring when a building and teaching team traveled to Guyana to rehab a youth camp and teach friendship evangelism. A new team leader was in charge, giving MissionGuides more capacity to develop even more in new elds. Equipping!

GOLFING &THE GOSPEL?

How often does your golf game “sink the putt” for someone in another part of the world?

By participating in the MissionGuides’ Annual Golf Outing, you become one of our rst wave mobilizers that raises awareness and a signicant amount of funding for the missions education and eld projects we facilitate each year.

Golfers of all skill levels (and their kids as caddies!) celebrate at this fun event after mobilizing the abundant spiritual and nancial resources within their network of family, friends, co-workers and churches. This fuels MissionGuides for the coming year.

With many helpers it is surprisingly easy to do. This year, we are asking friends to recruit a foursome to adopt one of the projects detailed on the next page, then work to meet its funding goal. If each one of our foursomes can do that, MissionGuides will be well supplied for the year ahead and the many peopleand projects we have on-deck will be equippedto engage the world.

Please take a look at what’s up for 2019 and becomea part of making it come true. Join us in this exciting work that stretches our faith way beyond Sunday morning and makes nine holes much more than aday on the course.

MissionGuides Internationalis a Wisconsin-based missions advocacy ministry that exists to EXPOSE ordinary Christians to God’s extraordinary work, EQUIP them with tools to get involved with that work and create opportunities to ENGAGE the world at home and overseas.

Since 2003, MissionGuides has been working with church partners in the USA, Trinidad, Guyana, Myanmar and Sri Lanka, giving many people faith experiences that are larger than Sunday morning and much bigger than their hometowns.

Past work has included the building of churches, schools, community centers and playgrounds. Medical missions, youth events, evangelism teams and feeding the homeless have also been a part of our adventures.

At home, classes like the Perspectives Course and the WorldView Cafe have encouraged regular people to explore what they can do for Jesus anywhere in the world. Some have even become long-term missionaries as a result.

Our work with Perspectives has also helped lay-people and missions leaders make more strategic choices with their ministry dreams and is resulting in work being started among unengaged peoples of the world.

“MGI” is a 501(c)(3) non-prot registeredin the state of Wisconsin and is generously supported by individuals and church partners whose faithful encouragementhas made so much possible.
